I think the Roman Emperor that had the biggest impact on the Roman Empire was Augustus Ceaser. Augustus was the best emperor because he started Pax Romana, a time when Rome was peaceful and prosperous. In Pax Romana, which Augustus started, Rome gained many things like a fire brigade and police force. Rome's army became the most powerful fighting force in the world and business and trade grew.

I think the roman emperor that had the most impact was Augustus Caesar. Augustus was definitely the best roman emperor and was not selfish like most of the other emperors. He also was the emperor to start roman peace. Augustus made the roman empire grow and expand by building roads too.

I agree with Daniel. Augustus started the emperor and brought peace to Rome. Rome grew as an empire in this time of peace. I think Augustus brought the peace that Rome needed after the death of Caeser.

I agree with Daniel. Augustus Caesar definitely was the best roman emperor and had the most impact. This is true because he built many roads across the empire and started roman peace. He was also an emperor that wanted to help the people of Rome instead of using all of his power on doing things for himself.

I agree with Daniel and Veronica Agustus Ceasar had a really big impact on Rome. He started the Empire, he started the pax Ramana and gave peace to Rome for 200 years, and he was a good Emperor that didn't just care for himself but for the people of Rome.

I think Augustus Caesar had the biggest impact on Rome. During his time businesses and trade grew, he had roads built, got a police force and a fire bridage, made peace with other countries and he started Pax Romana that lasted for 200 years.

Yes I agree Augustus was a good emperor but who is the exact opposite of Augustus. I think it is Nero. Nero was by far the worst Roman Emperor. I mean who poisons his step-brother, murders his mother and wife, and starts a fire and says the Christians did it. For these reasons Nero was probably the worst emperor.

yjgI agree with Daniel S. that Augustus was a good emperor but the exact opposite of him is Nero for the reasons of; poisoning his step-brother, murdering his mother and wife, then creating a fire in Rome and blaming it on the Chistians.

I think that Augustus Caesar had the biggest impact on Rome because for one he changed the republic to an Empire. Also he started Pax Romona which caused great things for Rome and Roman citizens. These things include trade and new math and science discoveries and improvements. This time of Roman Peace lasted for 200 years.

I believe that Augustus Caeser had the biggest effect on the empire because he was the first emperor, started the empire, and brought roman peace (Pax Romana). Besides Augustus I think that Emperor Nero had a big effect on Rome. Nero started the Great Roman Fire which destroyed much of Rome. After this Nero blamed the fire on Christians which started the persecution of Christians.

I totally agree with you Haley. Augustus had a big impact on Rome with Pax Romana. But besides him Nero also had an impact with starting the fire and blaming the Christains for it, leading to the persecution of Christains.

I believe that Nero had the biggest impact on Rome. I believe this because Nero started the great fire of Rome and blamed the Christians for starting it. Since he blamed the Christians this lead to the persecution of Christians, which cause lots of Christians to be persecuted and caused them to practice in secret so they wouldn't be persecuted.

I have to agree with Emma that Nero had a large impact on Rome. But I think that he wouldn't be an emperor if it wasn't for Augustus Caesar. Technicality Augustus started the long line of emperors to follow him. And you may argue that someone else would have founded the empire. Pompey or Marcus Aurelius. But both were to cowardly to disobey the senate without the leadership of Augustus. He was a very loved and confident ruler that I don't think that any other emperor could top. I also agree that Nero was pretty messed up, though.

I think the emperor with the largest impact on Rome was Augustus Caesar because his rule marked the end of the Roman Republic. He is also important because his rule started 200 years of Roman peace that allowed Rome to flourish. While Augustus ruled, business and trade developed and was a big thing. He also developed a police force and a fire brigade or fire department.

I agree with Madisyn W. Augustus Ceasear started Pax Romana. He also made a police force and fire brigade. If he did not make a fire brigade, then the great fire Nero started could have destroyed all nearly all of Rome.

I believe that Nero was the worst emperor. I think this because he set fire to Rome and blamed it on the Christians. This led to the persecution and death of over 50,000 innocent Christians.

Nero without a doubt was the worst emperor of Rome. Just because he was the only emperor of Rome too poison his step-brother, murder his mother and wife. Then create a fire that burnt a lot of Romans houses. Just to make a new building for him and then blame the fire on the Christians. Which lead too the killing and persecution of tons of innocent Christians.

I agree with you Cole, that Augustus was the best emperor or had the biggest impact on Rome. And that was because he did Pax Romana like you said and that was an amazing thing for Rome. And I definitely agree with you about the him being the new Julius Caesar.

I believed Nero had the biggest impact on Rome.I think this because after he ruled I believed it went all down hill. He did horrible things to the citizens and never treated them equally.

I know for sure that Nero was the worst emperor of them all because he was evil. He did really crazy things as an emperor. He made bad choices and an example of a bad choice is when he basically killed his whole family. But the main reason I think he was the worst emperor because of the fire in Rome and how he blamed it on the Christians. So that was hard for emperors after him to rebuild Rome.

I think Nero made the biggest impact on Rome because of all the awful things he did as a leader. He made extremely bad decisions such as punishing Christians just for not having the same beliefs as him. It was not a good impact he made but I'm sure he just wanted to be remembered, it was a bad way but he did leave Rome in a bad place. Which definitely made him remembered.
