I think the longbow was the most beneficial. I think that because even though it was hard to use it had a very precise aim. It was also very fast but took a while to learn how to use it.

I sort of agree with you Macy. The longbow did have a very precise aim. This was a very good tool to use in battle but I still think that the helmet was also very beneficial.

I think that the helmets was very beneficial. I think this because the helmet was protecting the part of the body that is the most important; your head. If you head was to get cut in battle, you would suffer a serious injury. You might even die.

I agree with you abby. The helmet was very beneficial because it protected your head. And what was convenient was the nose guard. That prevented the most common injury during battle, getting your nose chopped off.

I agree you Abby. The helmets protected a lot of injuries. The helmets also protected your back sorta. That helped people not be paralized.

I think the cross bow was beneficial. They were small and the first weapon that you could carry. Even though it was small, it could shoot very far and they didn't have to be face to face with their enemy. it was very powerful.

I agree with you Cheyenne. Although the crossbow was small it shot far. Also you didn't have to be right in front or close to them.

I think the crossbow had the biggest impact in battle. It was the first weapon you didn't need skill to operate. All you had to do is load it, point, then shoot. All other weapons needed skill to yield, where as a amature/ noob with no skill could kill someone. It was such an "unfair" weapon on the battlefield that even the pope banned it.

I think that the crossbow was the best weapon in battle. The crossbow needed only a little bit of practice and strength . You didn't need much to handle a crossbow. Sad thing was that the pope banned the weapon.

I slightly agree. It was an amazing weapon and it could kill easily. It was also very feared and the Pope once even banned it! it was unappreciated.

I think the plated armor was the biggest impact. I think this because it was lighter than chain armor. Also, plated armor protected more areas than chain armor.

I believe that the crossbow had the biggest impact. I think this because it was easy to use, and did not require much skill or strength. It also had a high range of 350-400 yards.

I agree with you Angie it did have a great impact on history. If they had a knight that wasn't very skilled they can just teach them how to use a crossbow.

I think crossbow had the biggest impact because it was easy to use. if it is easy to use an untrained solider could use it. Finally it was more practical than the longbow.

I think the morning star had the biggest impact. It was like a miniature mace and there were several versions. It was a deadly weapon for offense and defense. Sometimes it had a chain making it so you can swing it around like a mad person.

I think the crossbow was the most beneficial. It was far more accurate than a regular bow and it shot wayyyyyy farther. This allowed them to shoot from distances but still injure or kill their enemy.

I think the shield beneficial because you can use the shield to block any swords or shields coming at you, and you can also use the shield to knock someone out by swinging the shield towards their head.

I think the crossbow was the most beneficial. You could kill/ injure someone from far away, and they didn't know who did it, so then they wouldn't come back and attack you!

I think the morning star is the most beneficial. It looks like it could cause the most damage, though it does seem heavy, especially with all the metal it's made out of. I also like how there can be many different kinds, instead of a spike on a chain.

I actually disagree with you Jacob. With the crossbow, you didn't really need a helmet or armor because you were way back behind everyone. Being behind everyone, you were still able to injure or kill your opponent because the crossbow just had that much power.

I agree with you Kim, I think that the crossbow is the best for hitting someone in a far distance, and i link it would be easy to load and it would be easy for a brand new night to learn quickly for his first battle.

I agree with Janna. Now that I think about it, without the shields or any defense of the sort many soldiers could have died if it weren't for the defense that they had back then.

The sword. It is the most basic melee weapon and it could kill someone in one slice (if it was sharp enough and it was slit in the right spot). The sword can also stick through the visor of a helmet and kill the enemy. It also is very famous and can be crafted by almost any mineral

I feel the helmet was very useful in battle. You are trained to fight through pain, but if they mess with your head, that could severely affect you and/or even kill younnSo no helmet in battle, good luck. 😂

I think that the crossbow was most affective weapon In battle. This is because it was easy to use. One did not have to practice very hard to use the crossbow, and it could be used for long distance fighting. Although the crossbow might not be as accurate as the longbow, it was much easier to handle. I think that the most affective armor is the helmet. This is because it can protect a knight's head from serious injury, and give them more of a chance to survive battle.

The reply button is not working, so this is my reply to Liz W.: I agree with you, Liz. I also think that the crossbow had the biggest impact in battle. Also, I agree with the fact that an untrained soldier could use it. They could focus more on learning how to defend themselves, and take up less offensive training, which could let them be better soldiers.

I think the crossbow had the biggest impact on society because it required no skill to use. It could also kill a man at like 400m! It was even banned by the church because of how crude it was.
