I think the most interesting is the triumvirate with Julius Caesar, Pompey and Crassus because when Pompey went to kill Caesar. Also when Pompey went to the senate and said Caesar was having to much power like a king. The other triumvirate was boring because nothing really happened. I don't even think people know about the second triumvirate.

Yeah Liz I didn't know too that there were two triumvirate. And I also thought that triumvirate and Julius Caesar battle was the most interesting.

I agree with you Liz W. because it was pretty boring. Plus they did not have amazing people that took down Rome's enemy or help the plebeians and patricians.

I agree with you, Liz, because it is true at more people know about Julius Caesar then about the second triumvirate. Julius Caesar had become a famous ruler in Rome, and was more interesting than the other triumvirate.

I disagree because the seoned triumvriate is crazy. Antony marries Octavia, divorces Octavia and marries Her step mom. Then the couple goes aganist Rome and of course Rome wins .

I disagree also because really the second had a lt of crazy stuff going on. Marc Antony marries Octavia. Then he marries Clea Patra ( Octavia's Step mom). Then they try to go against and run away and commit suicide.

I disagree because i think that the story about the second triumvirate is more interesting because it is kind of dramatic and sounds like something that would happen today, even though it was not right for people to cheat on each other.

I agree with you, Liz, but for different reasons. I feel the first triumvirate is more interesting because there is more action. The second triumvirate is just Mark Antony committing suicide, and then Marcus Lepidus gives away his power. In the first triumvirate, there is more force, and action.

I think the most interesting triumvirate was with Pompey, Julius Cesar, and Crassus because the men were interesting. It was interesting because Julius Cesar was the best general and Crassus was extremely rich and powerful. Also because at one point Julius Cesar named himself dictator for life! -Vini Vidi Vici

I agree with you Kevin because Julius Caesar I think was more interesting. The way Pompey turned on the triumvirate was way more interesting than Octavian and Mark Anothey.

I disagree with you Kevin because only some men were interesting, when you are rich that doesn't mean your interesting ( I'm not saying that if you're rich you're always not interesting). the only really interesting person was Cesar because he did make himself dictator for life, but everyone in the 2 triumvirate was interesting and avengeful. They all wanted the people who stabbed Cesar to be stabbed.

I think the most interesting triumvirate was Julius Cesar because he was the best commander of their triumvirate. Also when he was double crossed by Pompey (he was selfish) he didn't give up like anyone else would. He started a fight with his own country, which he quickly won with his army. After he declared himself emperor for life he improved the plebeians and slaves rights, which made him unpopular with the patricians, which got him stabbed 23 times.

I agree with Danny because Cesar did get stabbed by the Patricians 23 times. Usually you would see someone get stabbed one time and then die.

I agree with you Danny because when you said he never gave up, he didn't because he beat Gaul. I think this is the most important triumvirate because of Caesar

I thin the most interesting triumvirate was the 2 because it rose when the first triumvirate fell. It sought revenge on those who killed Cesar, most of the senators committed suicide so they wouldn't be killed from this triumvirate. When they had finished hunting down the patricians who killed Cesar they made Rome's borders bigger by waging wars against the peoples around them. Please disregard my other comment I didn't understand the question.

I agree with you Danny 100%. I agree with you because you are right the second one rose to the top when the first one just sunk to the bottom. The second one is way more interesting.

(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ I think Julius Caeser because of all of the amazing things he did for the lower and middle classes. Some examples may be he let them have land of their own, they got more free will of having more variety of jobs. He also made the famous quote, "Veni Vidi Vici" which means, "I came, i saw, i conquered." He in my opinion seems interesting to me, because of all the good and inspiring deeds he did. ✧゚・: *ヽ(◕ヮ◕ヽ)

I forgot to add the other triumvirates. WOOPS! Well, the other triumvirates are interesting as well. Even though they caused a battle between themselves and government wise, they could make a very good team if it weren't for jealousy, etc.

I think that the triumvirate with Julius Caesar, Pompey, and Crassus was the most interesting because after Crassus died, Pompey and Julius Caesar were fighting to be emperor. When Pompey died, Julius Caesar became the ruler and ended the Roman Republic.

I agree completely with that statement. You'd almost never expect two people that were once working together as a team, turn on each other, get greedy, and fight..... okay maybe you can predict that sometimes.

The best triumvirate is with Antony because it just like a movie . It takes a toatal turn. Antony marries Octavin's sister wich is good because gets the triumvirate closer. Then Antony divorces Octavia and marries Octavians step mom! I mean this triumvirate is crazzy!

I think the best 2 triumvirates is Caesar, Pompey, and Crassus mostly because of Caesar by him being very popular and beating Gaul. Also, Romans were trying to kill the senators who killed him because everyone loved Caesar.

I think that the first Triumvirate with Cesar was more interesting. Why I think that is because Cesar was the one who defeated Gull. He also was the one who called him self dictator for life but because of that he got stabbed 23 times by the senate.

I think the Caesar one because one the triumvirate helped the plebeians giving them food, land, and rights. Also when he defeated Gaul, that sparked importance in the republic.

The first one because Julius Caesar killed Pompey, & Crassus. After that, he named himself "Dictator for life". When the senates assasanaited Julius Caesar I thought it was crazy.

Yes that sure was crazy! Caesar killing his own partners, that was no good. I know that it may have been for a good cause but I would not go kill one of my friends because they where being mean or not supporting my disions.

I honestly think that neither was more interesting because they both wound up in a war, Caesars' being more violent. If I were to choose one though, it would be the second, purely for the reason that it was less violent' more hate-y. The fact that the divorce-of-partners's-sister-and-marry-his-step-Mother thing happened, the war started, but no head-on-silver-platter-because-I-hate-you-for-betraying-my-tyranny. The third person in the group is often not in the war and doesn't get any notice, Like Crassus and Lepidus. Ultimately, I think the second is mostly better, mainly because it's peaceful...er.

Julias caeser in my opinion was the most interesting because it was interesting that he conquered the non- defeated ''team'' called Gaul that Rome has not beat for a long time. And I thought that scince he called himself Dictator for life I thought that was real interesting too. That was why I think Julias caeser was the most interesting to me.

I think the 1st triumphent is more interesting because they are the people who set it up. The 2nd triumphant just followed what the 1st one did. I know that the 2nd one was interesting with Marc Antnoy and octavians sister but The 1st triumphant was probably more organized with all of it.

I think that the second triumphant was more interesting. I think this because of the whole deal with Marc Antony and Cleo Patra. I know that its weird but I just like learning about him and Cleo which is his STEPMOM! and getting away from the boat and commiting suicide.

I thought Julius Caesar was the most interesting because I thought it was kind of him to help the lower-class. The third triumvirate was my personal favorite because it was interesting and kind of weird the Cleopatra was the step mom.

I think the second triumvrate was the most intresting. I think it is because Marc Antony marries Octavia. Then he goes off and marries Clea Patra ( Octavia's Step mom). Then they try to defeat Rome but they can't. They run away from war back to their home. They commit suicide because they had no chance.

I feel that the second triumvirate was more interesting because, first of all, when Crassus died in battle, Pompey and Julius Ceasar went into their own little personal war. Second of all, Julius Ceasar ordered Pompey to be killed in battle, and his head to be brought back for proof of death. Third of all, the second triumvirate was just first guy commits suicide, second guy gives up power to third guy, and then there is a roman emperor. There is just more action in the first triumvirate, and that is the reason I like it the most.

I think Julius Caesar, Pompey, and Crassus were interesting because they where the first to think of doing a triumvirate. Crassus and Pompey were jealous of Caesar because every one adored him. They wanted to kill him but instead Pompey died in war and Crassus died another way, before they could kill Caesar.

I think Marc Antony, Octavian, & Marcus Lepidus was the most interesting because of the love relationship between March Antony and Octavia. When Marc Antony cheated on Octavia with Cleopatra it meant that he was cheating on Octavia with her own mom. Then the fact that Octavian had conquered Cleopatra land because she committed suicide during the battle.
