I think the Sui dynasty had the most impact on their civilization because. The Sui dynasty invented large canals, to carry clean water over to them. Also the canals helped people who wanted to ship things get to the location faster with the canal.

I agree with you Inez on how the Sui dynasty made the Grand canal. And that did mark a great improvement in China. Just remember how it was built, the building process caused 3 million people to die, so I partially agree with you.

I agree with you, Inez. The Sui Dynasty did have a very large impact on Chinese culture, in good ways and bad. They helped trade throughout China by building the Grand Canal, linking Northern and Southern China, but it also killed thousands of people who could have had future kids, affecting China's population.

I think the song dynasty had the greatest influence on the Chinese culture because they had a good had good trading products like silk and iron to get other things from traders.they also created gunpowder which explodes when you heat it up. so they used gunpowder in wars like a kind or grenade/bomb

I think the Tang had the biggest influence on the civilization because they had the first female empress. Empress Wu Hoo made things more fair in China. She had the test to get into the government based on what you know not who you know. She had them write poerty and take many test. Many people thought she cound not rule but she proved them wrong and I think left the biggest influence on the civilization.

I think the Tang because Wu Hou was the ruler. She had a complicated test that the people had to take if they wanted to become part of the government. I think that when she did this she had a great government.

Of the 5 dynasties I think the Mongols were the most influencing because they influence it in a good way like when they conquered land they improved it and made the people happy. They also made their lands trading easier by making it safer by land and water. Finally, they made it so emperors didn't have to be Chinese they could be anyone as long as they qualified.

I agree with Danny. The Mongols did conquer land, but they then improved it. They also didn't care whether you were Chinese or not when you ruled.

I agree with Danny P. the Mongols did influence the civilization, but they were ruthless. They stopped at nothing to get what they wanted, which is more land, and they keep wanting more and more land. The Mongols died of greed, for more land.

I think the Tang did a great affect out of all the five Chinese dynasties because of Wu Hou, the first female emperor. Under her rule, she improved literature and arts. Trade increased as well, and she was extremely tough, not giving mercy like any expected female would give. I think that is a very important time in the Tang dynasty. ^^

I think the Tang because they had a strong goverment. To be in the goverment you had to take a test. Empress Wu Hou, would kill anyone you tried to get in her way. To elminate bad people for the goverment. The tong dynasty was the strongest dynasty.

I think that the tang dynasty greatly influenced china. One reason the tang dynasty was a good dynasty because literature and fine arts had flourished during the time the tang dynasty was around. The tang dynasty also increased trade in central and western china. The tang dynasty also had the first female ruler of china and she cared about education and what you know .

I agree with you, Kim, because the Tang dynasty did greatly influence China. In the Tang dynasty, they had a female ruler who cared about your education to work in the government, and she strengthened the Civil Service Exams to get into the government. This made it a better system, where you had to know more to get into the government and not that you had to just know someone in the government to get in.

I think the Tang dynasty had the biggest influence because they had the first female leader or Empress. Empress Wu Hou had a very difficult test so no one dumber than a box of rocks could be in the government.

I think the Mongol dynasty had the biggest influence because of Genghis Khan. He spread his land by a lot and his grandson Kublai Khan even spread his land even more!

I think the Tang dynasty made the most improvements in China. One reason being is that the paper block printing, (which acted like a stamp,) allowed multiple paper writings to be printed in a short period of time. Another reason is the way how you get into the government. Wu Hou made a complicated test to the people for there talent, and had them write good poetry, and writing good poetry is HARD, it takes talent to write good poetry.

I think the Mongol (Yuan) dynasty had the impact on their civilization. This is so, because they were the first civilization with a non-Chinese ruler. They also conquered more land in 25 years then Rome did in 400 years! These guys were crazy. :D

Yea I agree with you Connor. They must've had a great army to be able to that. But just think about what Mr. Kaciuba was saying in class, people were already surrendering their town before the Mongols even got there. I can't even imagine what life was like back then if you were getting attacked by the Mongols.

I think that the Mongol dynasty had the biggest influence on Chinese civilization. I believe this because during this time, the Mongols controlled a very large amount of land. They had a strong army at this time, and were conquering other civilizations quickly and easily. The ruler during this time was a Mongol, which impacted the civilization a lot, because the ruler had many different ideas than the past leaders of China.

If I had to pick one I think I would have to pick the Tang Dynasty. I chose them because they had the first female Empress, Wu Hou. I believe this is a big thing because it really showed that women could do more than people thought.

I think that the Sui dynasty had the biggest impact on China. This is because the Grand Canal was built, which improved trade, but also killed thousands of people, who may have had future children, affecting China's population forever. Also, if they weren't so mean, they might have not been overthrown quite so fast, and then there would have been no Tang dynasty, no female ruler, and so on. The point is, one little tiny difference in history can change the course of the world.

I think the Mongol Dynasty was the most important dynasty. They conquered one third of the world in only 25 years. That was faster than the Romans. They were the first people to use grenades. They did the first bio-logical warfare. They catapulted the dead bodies that were infected with the bubonic plague over the walls of the city they were fighting. That city would get infected and many would die before they even had to fight them.

I think the Sui dynasty because they created the canal which helped all of the other dynasties. They created the canal to help people trade more/better. Insted of going on the yellow river and yagzee river they can now go a faster way.

I think the song dynasty because they had useful products like silk and iron. Also they made the gunpowder that was VERY VERY useful to them in wars, because they would explode when the got warm so most of the people they were fighting against exploded.
