I think the biggest reason why Rome fell was when the Eastern part of the economy grew. It had all the citizens and money which made the western part of the economy weaker. So, other armies decided raid that part and destroyed it.

I agree with you Aidan. Rome fell because it was too big so it was split in half. The Eastern part had more money and was stronger than the Western part, and the Western part had less money.

I agree with Emma and Aidan . I think Rome fell because it was way to big, so they had to split it in half, but that didnt work very well because while the Eastern part of Rome grew wealthier the western part grew weaker

I believe that the biggest cause for the fall of Rome was Rome being too big. Rome was split into an Eastern and a Western part. The Eastern part of Rome had more money and was stronger. Where the Western part of Rome had less money and was weaker. Since the Western part was weak invaders came in and defeated the Western half causing that half to fall. Since the Eastern part was stronger it took longer for it to fall but eventually it did.

I completely agree with you Emma. There were many of problems in Rome, but in the end it came down to Rome being to large and only one half of Rome could defend itself.

I completely agree with Emma because Rome as an Empire was growing to large for the emperors to handle. Although they were happy Rome had grown into such a huge culture. But since they did not have the modern technology we have today, they could not handle this new way of life that Rome has grown to. I also think that the Eastern stopped caring about the Western part and that made Rome as a whole weaker.

I also completely agree with Emma that the biggest cause of Rome is it was too big. Ten they split it in two and one was weaker than the other in everything they had.

I couldn't agree more with what Emma said. I mean Rome was just to big to control. I mean people had to know that Rome was going to end soon. I also think that if the western part wasn't as weak then it wouldn't have ended when it did.

Rome fell for a number of reasons. I think that the biggest reason was that Rome was to big. Rome had to be split in half which caused one half to be way more wealthier and have a better army. When invaders came the Eastern side of Rome fended them off but the Western part of Rome was weak and also had a weak army which caused invaders to defeat them easily.

I think that the main reason Rome fell was because of it's size. It was growing to big to govern by one person only. So when Diocletian divided the empire, he really had a huge point. But the two basically very different places, the Western part of Rome and the Eastern part of Rome, stopped acting as a whole which threw Rome away. This is shown when the Eastern part herded the Goths away into the Western part and then stopped helping them because they knew the Western part was weak. Which then led to other invaders invading Western Rome. Problems that led to another caused the fall of all of Rome. But in conclusion, I think Rome was really too big for its own good.

I completely agree with you Sofie, their was no one Rome could keep all its power with its massive size. Their was way too many citizens, which made it extremely difficult to take care of. Once Rome was split by Diocletian it did not help, then Rome wasn't on the same page and it was too difficult to transfer information between the Western half and the Eastern half.

I agree with Sofie because Rome was getting to big. Also because when Diocletian spilt Rome . The western was weak, but the eastern was gaining money .

I think the main reason Rome fell was because of its extremely large size, it was too difficult to keep all the power Rome had with its size. Even when Diocletian split up Rome it was still too difficult to take care of Rome. This is also why the Western half of Rome fell first. They did not have the power that the Eastern half did and their was no solid way that worked well to transfer information between the two sides.

I agree with Sofia. Rome was way to big for one person to rule. They also did not have a good way of communication and the Eastern part was super wealthy while the western part was falling apart.

I agree with Sofia completely. To add on, Rome should of took a break on the size of Rome and start working on the Rome they had. If only they heard of the quote, "bigger is not always better. They could of had a lot bigger chance at a longer empire.

I think the biggest reason why Rome fell was because it was to big. They split it into an Eastern part and Western part. The Eastern part grew and became extremely wealthy. While the Western part grew very weak. Other armies saw how weak the Western part of Rome was and decided to tear it all apart.

I totally agree with you Haley. Rome was way to big to be protected. So, they ended up having to split it up. Eventually, the eastern part grew, which left the western part weaker.

I believe Rome fell because it was to large to govern. To fix that problem Diocletian divided Rome in half. The Eastern part was wealthy, and the Western half was in a financial hole. Then the Western half fell, and then ALL of Rome fell.

I definitely agree with Sam. Rome did fall because Diocletian divided it into 2 halves and the west was a financial hole and when that fell the east fell

I agree with Sam, and how it did not really help to divide Rome in half because one half of Rome got weaker while the other grew stronger. Diocletian probably had no other choice to split Rome in half, at the time it probably sounded like a good idea, but it really didn't help Rome grow at all.

I agree with Sam. Rome had to split into to halves because it was to big to govern and defend. But, one half was way more wealthy and powerful. So enemies took advantage and ended the Western half. Since the Eastern half was wealthy and powerful it fell a little while after the Western half.

Probably the biggest reason for the fall was that those Huns where chasing the goths and took out the south side of Rome. And for the east probably because of the plague. Killing hundreds of people in Rome really took down the empire and there was nothing that they could do about it really.

I think the biggest cause for the fall of Rome was that there was so many bad emperors. Since there was bad emperors the Roman empire got weaker and weaker. Then eventually the Roman empire completely fell.

I think the biggest fall of Rome was because of the emperors. Rome had only 5 great emperors the rest were just horrible for Rome. The bad emperors made horrible descisions for Rome. And an example was Diocletian, he knew Rome was huge. I mean I understand why he separated it. But if only the earlier emperors knew "Hey I think Rome is too big." But nope they never thought of that.

I think Rome fell because it was getting way to big, and because they split it in half .The Eastern part was gaining money while the Western part was getting weaker. Also because it was so big the soldiers were along the border of Rome. So enemies just had to get through one group of soldiers then they were in Rome and could destroy it.

In my opinion the biggest reason Rome fell was because it became too big. Then it had to split in half because it was too big to defend. But, one half was more powerful than the other which mad the Western half, or weaker half vulnerable. Enemies took advantage and ended the Western half of the empire. It took longer for the Eastern half to fall, but it eventually did too.

I think Rome fell because of how big they got. The bigger they got the less money they had. They had less money because of how Manet people were in Rome, a lot of people had the same amount of money because the patricians had to give the government money because they ran out

I think the biggest fall for Rome was first they split in two so everyone don't doesn't get fair share of all the trades. After that the east falls because they fail in protecting the place because the army is really bad. So the east of Rome is conquered by many groups. So that is what was the biggest reason that I think Rome fell for.

The trade throughout the empire was uneven because they split. this i think is the main reason for the fall of Rome. Although the emperor who thought that splitting the empire was a good idea at a time was ultimately wrong.

I think Rome fell because it was to big ,and because it was spilt in half . While the Eastern part gained money .The Western was losing money , and getting to weak to fight any more . This is why I think Rome fell.

I think the biggest reason that Rome fell was because they were letting Roman enemies into a part of the empire. Also they gave them citizenship. But what did not make the enemies happy is that they had to worship Roman gods.

Rome Fell because of their unwealthy-ness. It was really a sibling fight where one was hogging and the other got none. In this case it was the east or the Byznatine hogging the money from the import trail and giving non to the west wich leaded to the fall of rome

I think the biggest reason Rome fell was because they were broke. They needed more money to make the Empire work and by the emperors spending their money on parties they lost a good portion of it. they needed to use this money on better things like armor, food, and shelter.

I think that the biggest reason that Rome fell was because it was to big to control.Since it was to big to control it was broken in to 2 parts but that didn't help because one part had more money and was better in ways than the other part of Rome. So because of that the weaker part of Rome was easier to take down so that meant that once that part was taken over then there wouldn't be as much of Rome left and soo
