I do not think it was right because I would not meet sombody somewhere and kill them if I did not like them. I would just ingnore them or stay away from them. That is what the senators should have done.
I agree with Macy because if I saw someone that I didn't like, I would try to ignore them or move to a different state or country. Maybe I would be so mad, I would just try to kill him.
I agree because it would be better to just ignore it then Julius would not be dead and the people of Rome will be happy.
I do not think it was right but I can see how the senators would think it was ok because he was making them less famous. But then I do feel bad for the plebeians. Caesar was helping them and giving them land and money.
I totally agree with Abby, but the senators think me me me what can I do to help rich. Like Abby stated Caesar was trying to help poor so the senators did not like that.In other words he was trying to make it more even but senators think we are always the best.
I agree with Macy and Abby because the laws set back then were to keep the rich, rich and the poor, poor. Caesar though challenged this, he was trying to have the poor be equal with the rich. Because of those actions he was assassinated by 23 patricians.
I toatally agree with you ,Caesar was nice to plebeians and now they hate the senate, but I do feel bad for the senate because they had no idea that it was going to turn out this way.
I agree 100% with you Abby. You should not kill someone because they are helping someone else besides you. He was helping the people in need. He saw that the Patricians didn't need help and that they had enough money to help themselves, so he went and helped the Plebeians, the ones who didn't have enough money.
I agree with Abby that the senators would become less famous. The Senators thought they would become heroes to the rich, because they would get rid of the dictator for life also known as Julius Caesar.
No,because I think you do not you have the right to stab someone 23 times for helping people out.plus I do not want to be hunted down and killed if I was one senior to stab him.
I do not think it was right to kill Julius Caesar. Caesar defeated their biggest enemy Gal. He was giving land and money to the Plebeians.
I don't think it was right for the senators to kill Caesar because he was making Rome a better and more equal place. Caesar was making life more fair for the plebeians, and the patricians didn't like that. Caesar was very powerful, but didn't abuse his power he made the plebeians happy, more equal to the patricians, he used his power for the good of Rome, and he was killed for that, which I don't think is fair.
I agree with Danny P. because Julius was just trying to make Rome better. He gave home, money, and food to people who needed it. Julius didn't abuse his power he took it and made Rome a better place.
I agree with you Danny because you are right about making Rome better and a equal place. I wonder what would happen if the senators did not kill Julius Caesar.
I think if Julius Caesar was not killed, he would keep doing what he's doing. the 2nd triumvirate would have not been made. We would not have the Caesar salad.
I agree with Danny because if you read my blog you can't kill someone for helping someone out.
I don't think it was right for the senators to kill Julius Caesar. Julius Caesar was a great guy. One example of Julius's actions was when he gave food to the people who needed it. He also gave land and money to the poor. Julius also made everything fair. He believed that every one is equal.
I agree with you Amira. He gave land, food, and money for people who needed it.
I agree with you Amira, Caesar was making Rome a fair place.
Also he gave rights to the pleabians buy giving them food and slaves citizenship. The patrians where just jealous that Caesar was more popular then them.
I strongly agree with you, Amira. Caesar was only doing what he and the low class thought was right, and it truly was in my opinion. Though the senators also thought that what they did was right, but it wasn´t to the low class and middle class, showing that a large population believed in Caesar. Still, i believe this was a terribly wrong thing to do, so i highly agree with you.
I do not think it was right for the senators to kill Caesar because the pleabians loved Caesar. Caesar was giving more jobs and more rights to the pleabians. Also the senators thought they would be a hero. To be a hero you don't stabb someone 23 times. Finally he was a great leader because he was fair unlike the senators.
I agree with you, Liz, because I feel that you are completely correct. You don't need to stab someone 23 times to be a hero, just like you don't have to spill blood to win a battle. There is no reason to kill someone for trying to help, just as there is no reason to flow blood to prove a point.
It was not right for the senators to kill Julius Caesar even though he was very popular you should not kill him. Plus everyone is now trying to kill all of the senators. The Roman soldiers need a good leader to win the wars and he beat Gaul!
I think it was wrong to kill Caesar. I think this because the poor people loved him. He gave them land and money and other things. The senators think they were hero but they were bad people. Who walks out of a place with knives that are bloody.
I agree with you Jacob N. because I bet they also killed him because he was helping the poor so much and they did not want them to have things. Your right, WHO does walk out raising a bloody sword? -- Disgusting!
I say no because it just wasn't right! I fell like they could of worked out a agreement or a peace treaty or something. It was a cruel thing the senators did and I am glad they were punished!
I agree with you Kevin S. Julius Caesar was just trying to help. I think that some people are crazy. It is crazy to have people kill you for being nice. --Disgusting!
I think it was not right for the senators to kill Caesar because for one, plebeians RESPECTED Caesar because he was the one that gave them land and freedom. The only ones who didn't were the patricians. I mean who claims dominance with a bloody knife?
I TOTALLY think that they should not have killed Caesar. He was such a good emperor , even though he did not call him self a emperor. He improved the life for the plebeians by, giving them pay and land. The senate were jealous of Caesar. They said that he had to much power but that was just an excuse to kill him.
I agree with you Bella. I guarantee the Senators were jealous. He did not deserve to be killed.
I agree with you Bella, they were jealous of Caesar. He said that he was dictator, and they did not like this at all. They were jealous that he had more power than they did, so they ended his rule to try and gain more power, even though that did not happen.
I believe it was not the right thing to do to kill Caesar, let alone make him have such a miserable death, by getting stabbed repeatedly. What they had was just plain jealousy, and the only ones who went crazy for power were the senators, not Caesar. He was helping the poor and low class, and even though the high class disliked this, they could´ve just gotten used to it, for that is what the low class felt like.
I agree with Giovanna. I agree with you because you are right the partitions or high class, just had pure jealousy. I also agree with you because the only people who went crazy and over the top with power were the high class people. What snobs.
I don't think it was right at all for the senators to kill Ceaser. I mean yea I get it that he wasn't supporting them but they got everything they wanted all of their lives. It wouldn't hurt to not get what you wanted for once. And plus, Ceaser was actually helping the poor, unlike any other ruler.
I agree with you Tommy, they cannot always get what they want and they should have tried to accept him.
I do not think it was okay/right that they killed Julius. They shouldn´t have because they did not know that a lot of people liked him. I think they should have done a poll or gone around and asked people if they do or do not like him at least. Even if they did not like him, that doesn´t give them the right to kill him still, because he was their leader even, and they should have tried to accept him.
I guess I'm just the crazy one here! I think the senators should have killed Caesar. He was destroying the republic. The govt. was set up a specific way and there were laws to protect it. The fear most Romans had at the time was one person gaining to much power and becoming a king like Tarquin. That is why there are 2 consuls and they each could have power for only 1 year. Caesar destroyed all of that. He became "Dictator for life." What if he was just helping out the poor to gain popularity and once he had the power he would have begun to abuse the power? Now murder is never right. But what if President Elect Trump declares himself President for life? How would you feel then?
I feel it was wrong for the Senators to murder Julius Caesar. He was a great leader for 95% of the country! Helped all of the plebeians. He also probably saved a bunch of lives! Every single Senator deserved their death.
I believe that it was wrong for the Senators to kill Julius Caesar. Caesar was very kind to the Plebeians, and helped make their rights more equal to others. He created more jobs for Romans, and improved Rome. The Senators were wrong to kill Caesar, and the people of Rome even believed this, because every Senator was killed after they murdered him.
I agree with You Angie because Julius was a great leader that greatly improved Rome and that helped out the poor. The senators had no good reason to kill Julius
I feel that it was wrong for the senators to kill Julius Caesar, because Julius was passing laws that helped the plebeians, and he was helping the people who actually needed help, not the greedy rich people who want to save more money when they already have plenty. I also feel that it was wrong because I feel it is wrong to take someone's life away from them. Let people die on their own terms!
No I do not think that it was ok for the senators to kill Julius Caesar.Julius was a very good leader that really helped out the pleabians and he probably had good plans for Rome.He Also conquered Gal which no other Roman had ever done.I think that the senators should not have killed Julius because Julius was a good ruler that had made improvements to Rome.
I agree with Kim because the senators killed a great ruler. He could have done much more like conquer more cities and geow Rome. But the senators didn't like how is power was growing so they killed him.
I feel like it was not right for the senators to kill Julius. I feel this way because Julius was helping the plebeans by giving them Food and water and just helping them survive kind of. I also think that the patricians or the senators were just jealous and wanted attention and it was wrong.
I think it was not right for the senators to kill Julius Caesar because they killed him because of jealousy and it was a surprise to them after they told the people they killed him.
I think it was wrong for the senators to kill Caesar because what he was doing really wasnt hurting anybidy. Also since he was helping the plebeans they wouldnt rebel againt the rulers. When the senators actually did kill Ceasar the plebeans didn't like it and rebeled. Which ended up getting the senators killed.
Delilah I too believe that, the senators should not have killed Julius Cesar because like you said he was helping plebeians. With everyday things like family, food, land and other things you would do in life.
I believe the senators should not have killed Julius Cesar because, some people actually cared about him. Like the poor and they really liked him because he help them, by giving them food, land, and Evan some money to help them grow.
