I honestly would have learned to be an assassin and assassinated him without anyone knowing I did it, I would have did the same with Nero too. I would also try to do it before he causes everyone to rebel because then Mabye the mogul empire could have lasted longer and had better emperors, or Mabye even new inventions. If that didn't work I would have threatend him with a weapon to his eye and tell him to stop or I wil do it.

I agree with Tyler D. it could have been a silent but deadly situation and if you would have led a riot word would have spread fast. This could have made it easier to get in the temple if other people didn't know.

I agree with Tyler D. I would learn and become an assassin and assassinate him. So then maybe a new ruler and maybe he might make a big difference in the world today.

Aurangzeb was an awful ruler and he caused many declines to the Empire. He gave non Muslims taxes and he did not give he Muslims any taxes because he was a Muslim. That is not fair because anybody can believe in whatever they want to believe in.

Aurangzeb was a bad ruler, because he didn't respect other religions. If I could've said something to him, I would say something along the lines of the following. "Many people have different beliefs. One single religion isn't better than any other. Raising taxes for only select people is cruel and wrong, because people should be treated equally."

I agree with you 100% Haley. I would have told Aurangzeb something about how many people have different beliefs. I would also mention something about that one religion isn't better than any other religion. I think you did a great job answering the question.

Aurangzeb was a really bad ruler . He was a bad ruler because he didn't respect other religions . If I could have said something to him I would have spoke up and said "Not everyone has the same belief's". Also that he raised taxes on only some people, he should have treated everyone fairly .That is what I would have said to Aurangzeb .

I would not have tried to kill Aurangzeb. I would have deffinetley confronted Aurangzeb by saying "Everyone has their own opinions and beliefs which you have to respect." I would hope he would understand and started respecting all religions.

I agree with Madisyn. Aurangzeb needed someone to speak up against him and prove he is wrong for not respecting all religions.

I would have convinced one of Aurangzeb's royal advisers to tell him. Rather than I, just a common folk. I think that the adviser could persuade him to stop his madness. If this didn't work I would lead a peace rally with no violence like Martin Luther King Jr. But violence would probably work better.

I disagree I think violence would not have worked because he would have told his soldiers to kill everyone like Justinian. That would do nothing because he wouldn't have changed.

I agree with you Sofie. I think it's a great idea to ask help from someone with higher authority than you, because there would be higher chance of him listening. I also agree with the idea of a peaceful rally, because a lot could potentially go wrong if violence was used although violence could work as well.

I agree and dis agree with Sofie. I agree that it would have been a bad idea for just a common folk and another person in the crowd to tell Aurangzeb what to do, it would be better for someone such as an advisor. I disagree with the fact that violence would have worked better, because he has soldiers who could easily beat everyone else.

I would have started to protest with a large group for him to resign as the emperor. At first it would have been a peaceful protest. I would have also, told him how to be a better ruler. But, I would not have gotten violent.

I would have told Aurangzeb you should follow Akbar. Akbar let Hindus keep their temples. Akbar also let non muslims not pay taxes.

If I were trying to stop Aurangzeb I would try to become friends with people that work with him. I would do this so they would try to convince him, since they are closer to him than me, that what he is doing is wrong. If that didn't work the friend I made could assassinate him.

I agree with Daniel. If you get close to someone they are more likely to listen to you. But it really depends on your class because common people probably would have trouble getting close to him because I think that Aurangzeb would judge you because you are not rich.

I would do that too. But I would make friends with Aurangzeb. This way I am trusted to him and not some kid in the Empire that he does not know.

To stop Aurangzeb's harsh policies about non-Muslims and how he made them pay special taxes I would tell him something like this. " Just because you believe in this doesn't make it true. No one knows for sure which religion is true, or even if any of them are. Not everyone believes in the same thing and just because someone believes in something different than you doesn't mean you can treat them unfairly. You should treat non-Muslims, Muslims and every religion the same."

I agree with Emma completely. It is not fair that Aurangzeb is treating his people so bad. We are all he got so he better be nice to us. He is going against our religion and we should not have to take it. I would do everything I can to stop him.

I believe Aurangzeb was a bad ruler. I think that because other religions did nothing to deserve higher taxes. I would tell him that he should respect other religions.

If I was around in Japan when Aurangzeb was ruling I would have became an assassin and assassinate him in his sleep because I am just that cruel. Then taken the body away and buried it in his backyard and then left. Then when people found out he was died when a new ruler came I would make sure they were fair if not the same would happen to them until a good and fair ruler came.

To stop Aurangzeb's harsh policies I probably would of said " Many people have different beliefs, you can't just force someone to believe in some religion that they honestly don't believe in just because you do. Every religion is equal there is not a religion that is better or not so great. Making people pay taxes because of what they believe is wrong and shouldn't be done.

Aurangzeb was a harsh ruler. He did not respect various religions except for the muslim's religion. He also made people turn their religion to the muslim's religion or pay an outrageous tax. So, I would go up to him and say, " Why aren't you like your ancesters, Why do you tax non-muslim's". This might make him realize he wants to be one of the best rulers. This might of made the empire rule longer

I agree to you Jake because who wants to live in a empire who the emperor who makes anybody do only his religion, and if they don't obey they either have to pay a huge tax, or leave the empire. I would definitely not like that.

I would have stood up to him and told him " Your choice is not ours. How would like it if we treated you like you do to us." I also would have talked to every other religion and tell them we won't take this anymore. That is what I would have said or done to stop Aurangzeb.

I think to stop Aurangzeb I would have had someone who meant more to him or had more power over him to tell him. The reason being he would not listen to a regular person, I cannot control anything or anyone so this would Not be a good idea. It would work better for an advisor to tell Aurangzeb what to do, they have more power over him than someone such as a common towns folk.
