I think that the best place to live in the four climates is the Mediterranean. Because it is typically by the ocean so you can get good fish and have fertile land to plant crops. Also you can transport goods and trade easier with water ways through the ocean.
I agree with your comment even though only the outer parts of the Mediterranean would have ocean, so it's not totally accessible. Since it's a moderate climate it's never too cold or too hot, making it sustainable for civilization.
Niko, I couldn't agree more. The mediterranean would be a perfect place for a civilization to thrive. Its moderate temperatures make agriculture suitable. As well as people could trade, as it is easy to access. It has enough fertile soil to grow a substantial amount of crops. And it already has a good amount of animals, so that wold be easy. The Mediterranean is definitely the right place to begin a civilization that could thrive.
I totally agree with you Peter. It is a wonderful place to grow/catch your food. Mix that in with the trade, I will say that culture will thrive for another 1000 years.
I agree. The Mediterranean had very fertile soil, which is great for farming. It was also easier to travel and trade.
Peter I agree that the Mediterranean is the best climate for a civilization thrive. At first I thought that the Savanna would be best but, your reasoning changes my opinion.
I agree with you Peter M because it is a good place to catch good fish, fertile land to grow crops which is good for food and trading by the way trading is good too because its easier to trade because you can travel on a boat.
I agree with you that the best one would be the Mediterranean. You can fish, farm, and trade with other people.

I agree that the Mediterranean would be good for civilizations to grow. It has nice, average weather. And it is near the ocean for trade, transport, and other uses.
I would have to disagree with you because the Mediterranean Sea not all trade goes through every area. This is why I have to disagree with you.
I believe the Mediterranean would be the best spot for a civilization. It has good weather and fertile soil to grow crops. But when going hunting if possible I would travel to the Savanna to get lots of food.
I agree with Wally N. because I think the Mediterranean has nice weather and it would be good for crops and hunting with all the animals. I didn't even think of that.

I think the Mediterranean, like everyone else said, would be the best spot for me if I had a choice. First, it has a very nice climate. Not very hot or not very cold. Second, it has fertile land so I can plant and grow plants to eat. So ya, it would be good.
I think that the Mediterranean is definitely the best climate for a striving civilization. It has great temperatures and it has fertile soil, suitable for agriculture. It has water, food, and once again it has great fertile soil.
I agree because there would be lots of crops means lots of food and never have to make warmer cloths. plus there would be all the time fish because of warm temp.
I think the Mediterranean because it normally has spring like weather so it wouldn't be to cold or hot. So this way children would have a nice place to grow up and I like it best so I would like to live there.
I think that the climate zone that would be best for a civilization to thrive is the savanna. I think this because the savanna has very fertile land so you can farm and a civilization needs this to thrive. Also, there is a lot of animals there for hunting which is important in a thriving civilization.

I agree with Anna. The temperatures are about average so its not to cold or not to hot. Also, the oceans and seas have many uses.
I think the Mediterranean climate is the best for a civilization. One reason is there is usually a source of water.this is good for staying clean and for growing crops and for fishing. Another reason is the warm temp you don't have to build more warm structures and more cloths and wont e scares of food.
I think Mediterranean because it has good weather. Also its near the ocean for trade. Last thing it has fertile land to make more food.
I think that the Mediterranean was the best place to live. The soil was very fertile, so it would be easy to farm. There was also a period of time when it was rainy, which would make it easier to water crops.
