I think that the best place to live in the four climates is the Mediterranean. Because it is typically by the ocean so you can get good fish and have fertile land to plant crops. Also you can transport goods and trade easier with water ways through the ocean.

I agree with your comment even though only the outer parts of the Mediterranean would have ocean, so it's not totally accessible. Since it's a moderate climate it's never too cold or too hot, making it sustainable for civilization.

Niko, I couldn't agree more. The mediterranean would be a perfect place for a civilization to thrive. Its moderate temperatures make agriculture suitable. As well as people could trade, as it is easy to access. It has enough fertile soil to grow a substantial amount of crops. And it already has a good amount of animals, so that wold be easy. The Mediterranean is definitely the right place to begin a civilization that could thrive.

I totally agree with you Peter. It is a wonderful place to grow/catch your food. Mix that in with the trade, I will say that culture will thrive for another 1000 years.

I would have to disagree with you because the Mediterranean Sea not all trade goes through every area. This is why I have to disagree with you.

I believe the Mediterranean would be the best spot for a civilization. It has good weather and fertile soil to grow crops. But when going hunting if possible I would travel to the Savanna to get lots of food.

I think the Mediterranean, like everyone else said, would be the best spot for me if I had a choice. First, it has a very nice climate. Not very hot or not very cold. Second, it has fertile land so I can plant and grow plants to eat. So ya, it would be good.

If I had to choose I whould pick the savanna because you hve fertil land where you can farm. If you live near a river such as the Niger River you can farm and have food. Also, the savanna is home to a varitey of animals to hunt.

I think the Mediterranean climate is the best for a civilization. One reason is there is usually a source of water.this is good for staying clean and for growing crops and for fishing. Another reason is the warm temp you don't have to build more warm structures and more cloths and wont e scares of food.
