I agree with you Kevin. The Taj Mahal looks beautimus with it's lovely marble interior reflecting light. I feel that adding modern lights to the Taj Mahal gave it a more soothing feel to be inside.

I agree, because it is probably one of the most beautiful structures in the world. It also reflects light making it glisten.

I agree with Kevin. I agree with you because the reflection is beautiful, i think it looks better without the gems that got stolen and it makes the reflection stand out more

I believe the Taj Mahal was the most impressive wonders of the modern world because its perfectly symmetrical. Its cool that when the raiders came and stole all the jewels/gems leaving holes in the walls is really cool. The marble also fascinating because it reflects all the light to it.

I think the Great Wall of China is the best because it took about 2000 years and lots of work, although every other one does but, they don't contain hundreds of dead bodies inside.

I disagree with you Austin because well yeah the Great Wall of China was "great" so many people DIED from building it. So I agree and disagree with you because it was best but so many tragedies happened. Still the Great Wall of China was pretty impressive.

Erin basically all the great, huge structures like the Taj Mahal, Great Wall of China and The Pyramids of Giza all had people die when making them. For Egypt they overworked their slaves, the same with The Great Wall of China. When they built the Taj Mahal there were probably a bunch of work related accidents, from getting crushed by the stones or maybe heat stroke people would die.

I think that the Taj Mahal is the most fascinating of the modern wonders of the world. It took extreme precision to make the whole thing symmetrical. I can take a guess that someone messed something up, at some point in time, and they had to fix it to make it symmetrical again.

I agree! They also had to transport marble from all over Asia, just for this tomb. They also put gems throughout the building. Yes, these gems did get stolen, but it was still a huge effort for just a tomb.

The Taj Mahal was pretty impressive agreeing with what Ryan and Jamie said. To me the most impressive thing about the building of the Taj Mahal was how there was races between working groups to get it done faster. But it would be pretty bad if someone messed up, especially if the did not notice right away. Also it probably was hard just making the perfect size slots for the gems because they were just using hand tools.

I like The Great Wall of China because it is the longest thing ever built. It is 13,171 miles long and 50 feet high. The Great Wall of China is 2,000 years old!

I find the Colosseum the most impressive. I find this the most impressive because of the size and what happened there. The Colosseum was very large and fit a bunch of people. But what happened there was very important. There thousands of Christians persecuted there. It was also a big form of entertainment for the romans.

I think so too. The Colosseum's size and name were fitting to what actually happened inside. Many battles, ones that may even include lions, tigers, and bears. Oh my!

I agree but it's still hard to believe that so many battles happened in that place. It's so impressive that it still stands to this day.

I think the Taj Mahal was the most impresive because it is all just a tomb for two people but was built for one. It was also made of White Marble and Gems that where stolen, but I call that commitment where you would build a huge and symmetrical building for his favorite wife, but imagine how his other wife's felt.

I find the Taj Mahal is the most impressive because it's very beautiful. With he marble and the way the light reflects off of it, and all the gems that were put throughout the building. Another thing is that it looks like some huge palace, but all the building is meant for is a tomb for one person, Shah Jahan's favorite wife.

I think Machu Picchu is most impressive because its mysteriousness. Historians don't know the exact reason why Machu Picchu was built by the Inca Empire, some may think it's a religous temple, or it was used by royal Incas and Inca emperors. Machu Picchu is also beautiful, stones stacked upon others and layed out across, finding a perfect spot to watch the sun set.

I agree with you. The sunset makes it look glorious. But it also has a mysterious side because of the fact that no one knows what it was before it became just ruins on a hill.

I thought the Taj Mahal was the most impressive building that we learned about. Their was jewels all over the walls of the Taj Mahal but the jewels got stolen. It took a lot of people to build the Taj Mahal. The building was also symmetrical which I thought was cool.

I think the Taj Mahal is one of the most marvelous modern wonders of the world because they took the time to make sure it was symmetrical. Also since the walls were lined with jewels probably made it look beautiful. And the way it looks when the sun is setting is tasty, yes you heard me tasty.

I find all of the 7 Wonders to be extremely impressive. It amazes me how much these civilizations were able to create without modern technology or machines. But if I had to choose one, I guess I would pick the Roman Colosseum as the most impressive. This stadium is as large as many stadiums today, seating over 50,000 people. In addition to the number of people, it was also said that it could be flooded to hold naval battles. Finally, the engineering of this stadium has allowed for it to last nearly 2,000 years, even after much of the stone was quarried for other buildings after Rome fell.

I found the pyramids of Giza the most impressive because the fact that they could build something like that in 2560 BC is amazing. They are so massive I can't explain it. All seven of the seven wonders of the modern world are impressive, but I think the pyramids of Giza are the most impressive.

I believe that Christ the redeemer is the most impressive of the 7 because it is watching over beautiful Brazil. Also, it is a pretty statue that is elevated. It is also built in 1931 so it was probably hand carved, which makes it more special. I also like how it is a white statue.

I think the Taj Mahal is the most impressive, because it has been claimed the most beautiful building in the world. It is also entirety symmetrical. The size of the Taj Mahal is amazing, because they didn't have any of the modern technology we have today to help then build the massive structure.

I think Machu Picchu is the most amazing. The sunset makes a beautiful light source for an already mysterious wondrous setting on a hill. The mystery of what it originally was makes it even more intriguing to me. The stone makes it seem broken down and destroyed because of the texture of it and that makes it all the more intriguing.
