My most interesting part of the Middle Ages that we learned about is the castles and how they had arrow holes, murder holes, and the high walls.

I agree that was really cool to learn about. I think the system that that used back then was very smart to keep people out.

I agree with Olivia because it was a fun project and it showed a lot with the symbols. Also it was showing the creativity with what things represented us.

I also think those things were cool. I liked how they were used for defense and killed intruders.

I believe the most interesting part of the middle age unit was making my shield. I enjoyed making it and I liked showing what symbolized me. It was a fun project and I liked making it because I got to work with tools and paint.

I agree I liked doing the shield but it wasn't really one of my favorite things we did in the middle ages. I think the black death was more interesting but we all have different opinions.

I agree with you Olivia. We had a chance to show what type of person you are without physically telling anyone. I disagree with you Miah, I though that we had a large variety of choices in how to make our shield. We could chose what design, where to put colors, the overall shape and where to put symbols.

I agree with you Olivia. It was pretty sweet choosing the symbols the represent us, and that it meant something different in the olden days. It was fun, because you could make the shield however you'd like :)

I agree with you Olivia because we were able to actually to make something to use instead of a postcard. It was something you really had to put effort into.

I think the most interesting part of the Middle Ages was the black death. The black death was interesting because you got to learn that millions of people died. We also got to do the black death game which was fun. It was also interesting to learn about side effects like redness to the eyes and people burning up inside so the people jumped in ice cold water. That's why I think the Black death is interesting.

I have 3 interesting parts in the Middle Ages unit. I think the one of the most interesting part of the Middle Ages unit was making my shield because it was really fun and you got to symbolize yourself as a person. I also believe that a fun part of the middle ages unit was the King John activity. You got to pick and choose what you wanted to do and see if you would be a good king/queen besides King John because he was a jerk. Finally, the most interesting was the Black Death because it was amazing how we didn't have that much medicine then than now and so many people died. LIKE 1/3 OF EUROPE'S POPULATION WAS WIPED OUT!!!!! Like wow. ✌🏻

I liked reading about how they would torture people back then. Some of them I already knew because of random Youtube videos recommended to me. Either way they were still interesting.

I think that the black death was the most interesting part of the Middle Age unit because it spread quickly. Also I thought it was interesting because it also effected even the people who didn't have the black death. It did this because the people just stopped bringing food and other items in by ship. Also the plague was suppose to be spread by fleas and other small animals, but it ended up spreading to and killing humans.

I think the funnest part of this unit was making my shield because I enjoyed spray painting it and I also enjoyed it because it symbolises who we are and what we are.

I think the most interesting part was the torture techniques. They were so gruesome and disgusting that it reminded me of my friend who enjoyed them. Second, I enjoyed the shield project because my siblings told me about how they made theirs, I got so excited to do mine. Third, for the Black Death it was interesting to learn what the doctors thought cured the black death, and how it wasn't even close to a cure.

I agree! I enjoyed learning about the Black Death. The doctors had no idea what would cure it and their ideas were no where near what could have actually helped.

I agree! They are so gruesome and amazing. But at the same time they are still unique. They truly did not seize to interest me.

I think that making the shield was my favorite part on the Middle Ages unit. I enjoyed it the most because I love doing arts and crafts. I was able to show who I was through pictures and I thought that was cool.

I think the most interesting part of the Middle Ages Unit was learning about the Vikings. I think this was interesting because of what the Vikings did. Like when we learned a little about the Berserkers and how they took some drug before battle so they were crazy and saw things. The Viking ships were also very interesting they were not deep and could maneuver very quickly. So they could surprise attack places and get away. I thought how they could get around so quickly was really cool because nobody could even catch them. They also made people start feudalism. The Vikings like Leif Ericson discovered some of North America. I think that the Vikings were very interesting to learn about during the Middles Ages Unit.

I also liked the Vikings. I liked the vikings because of how they raided people fast and travel quickly on water.

I think the most interesting thing in the middle ages was the Black Death. I found it interesting because it killed a third of Europe.

I think the most interesting thing was making my shield.I thought it was the most interesting because it showed what colors and symbols that represented us. Also it helped me understand more about the the symbols and understand why they had symbols on their shields.

I think the best part about the middle ages unit was the shield project. It overall was my favorite because of the ability to be free with all of your ideas. Sure you need to use your moral compass for all of the symbols/colors but we have the option of where to put them and how to incorporate it into your essay.

I think the most interesting/best part of the Middle Ages unit was making the shields. It was cool making it, in many ways. One, the shield was supposed to represent you. You had these colors and symbols that in the Middle Ages meant different stuff then it does today. Two, it was also cool answering 2 of the 7 question. I learned a lot if new stuff that was pretty interesting to me.

My favorite part of the middle ages unit was creating and designing our shields. We had all sorts of design choices and actually creating something you can use unlike your paper abou Magna Carta from 6th grade. Because I'll probabl use my shield for nerf wars.

I think the most fun part of the Middle Ages unit was the shields. It was fun to design it and create it myself. I don think there is anything else we could've done to help me learn it better.

My personal favorite was the Black Death game. It was really fun and actively represented the actual Black Death. One thing I would change is I would make atleast a little such as maybe making us choose our own routes on little maps. This would also save you time making the routes.

I thought the most interesting thing was the black death. Along with the (BDG) Black Death game, its just that I found interesting, I the symptoms that you could get. I also thought the BDG was interesting because you always had the anticipation of getting a red bean or not, even though I died in the first place I went to.

I think the most interesting part of the medieval unit was either making my shield, or the black death game. But, lets just say the black death game for me. I think this because it shows us the odds of getting the plague. It also showed that it was just a "game" of luck, and there was basically no preventing it.

My favorite part of the Middle Ages unit was the Crusades. That, and Monty Python. The Crusades were very interesting in the world of religion. Plus, they were all very interesting except for the sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth, and the children's crusade.
