I personally think batteries is the most intresting. Just like Mr K said how did they use batteries. I dont know if Mr K said this but i would think they would use the acid in war. They might have used them on enemies as a melee weapon i dont know LOL

Using battery acid or even the battery itself as a melee weapon? Lol, I don't think batteries will do much against steel swords and shields!

Well Ena, I think that you could use them for fire arms, but melee weapons wouldnt really be a good idea, though you could through them at the enemies heads, if they collected some, they would be able to dicover how they are made, meaning they wouldnt be as much of an advantage for you.

I don't think that a battery could be used as a weapon unless they opened the battery in a lake. But they could have used the battery for power uses like making shock tools for fighting. You can't kill someone with a battery unless you were brutal.

But at this time there was no electricity. There was no Benjamin Franklin at this time i dont think.

I don't think that they even had batteries back then. They just had the acid, and at most they idea of the battery. Even if they had made batteries, they wouldn't be very powerful.

I think that while this is true and most likely you could not kill somebody with a battery. The type of battery they are talking about is not some battery from soday weighing less than a pound. The type of battery they had back in the day was most likely huge. But still your point still stands, Walter.

I agree with you Ena, the battery would be pretty interesting to find out why they invented that at the time and what they used it for. But it could have been a way for like a distraction device for maybe a final stand or it could have been made for suicide.

I believe one of the most interesting Muslim advancement is the clock. For them to be able to develop a clock at their time period is remarkable, as they thought the world was flat.

Adding on to what I was saying, I think it is remarkable because they don't have iPhones, they don't have satellites, so for them to figure out how to tell the time on the clock is something else. Like I stated before, they figured this out when they thought the world was flat!

Yes I believe that the clock was an important advancement but I don't think it is the most important. Yes we do use the clock a lot but someone else would have created a system to tell time even if the Muslims did not.

I think that the greatist thing they invented was soap. I think that because how would we get clean then if we do not have any soap? Another advancement I think was important was the clock. As Niko said, they thought the world was flat, but their time period was really interesting.

I agree with you Nick because without soap they would not know how to clean things. This will cause diseases and infections to spread in the hospitals.

I think the most interesting invention is probably sulfur acid to make batteries. Think of all the things people use batteries for now! and to think if they hadn't invented the sulfur acid small children wouldn't have toys that sang them lullaby's, children wouldn't have battery run toys, we wouldn't have flashlights, and we wouldn't have any thing else battery run.

I definitely agree with you Cloie. Batteries are a massive part of our daily lives today. Without batteries we are incomplete. A great amount of technology that we use today runs on batteries. So, without batteries we wouldn't really have any of the technology that runs on batteries. Even though Muslims didn't really use batteries, the idea of batteries was brilliant.

I agree with Cloie. Batteries are a huge part of our lives now. We wouldn't be able to use any electronics or use flashlights without batteries. So without battery acid we wouldn't have many things we have today.

I believe there greatest invention was sanitation or the use of cleaning supplies. If they had not created the use of cleaning disease could spread easily and with the cleaning it could help people live longer.

I disagree because, without the invention of medicen or medical help you could not save lives and your city population would derace. Also, in a battel you need medicle supplies to save the ingured. Also, cleaning supplies can not help in a battel.

I think the best invention was the improvement of medical and medicine. One was surgery, they would get the injured to puke and, there organs would retract to the body. Also, the Muslims inveted a school to teach medicne which helped the sick.

I think their best invention medical and medicine because without it how are we going to take care of it. If medicine wasn't a thing sickness will move the other parts of the world killing more people.

I would have to say that the Muslims' most interesting invention was surgery. This is because the invention saved thousands of people. I think that using cat guts to sew up another person's internal organs is very smart. This is my opinion because I am very interested in medical science. However, I also think that the invention of the clock is also interesting. Even though, then Muslims used the clock to tell them what time to pray, that invention is very important today. If we think about it, life would be so hard today without a clock. For example, we wouldn't know when to come to school, what time to go to work, etc. You must be thinking that we could still use the method of putting a stick in the sand or dirt and then watching the sun move but, that wouldn't tell us the exact time. I sure think that the Muslims made some great inventions that will help the human race in the centuries to come.

I agree with Dhwani on the surgery part because it is very important to give some one stitches if they have a huge cut. But we could know when to go to school even if we did not have clocks by looking were the sun is in the sky. I am not saying we should not have clocks but we could still get around even if we did not have clocks.

I think that the best invention would be the clock. If we didn't have it we would never be able to tell time or get to anything on time either.

I think that the most creative invention the Muslims made was the clock because we would not have time so we would always be late and never know what time it acually is.

I think that the most interesting invention by the Muslims is surgery. This is because it is actually very similar to how surgery is done today. They used stitches just like we do today.

I think the most interesting invention by the Muslims is the clock. This is because without the clock we wouldn't be able to be at school, church, doctors appointment, and many other things on time. Also, you wouldn't know what time it is so you can't go to sleep if you have a certain time to go to sleep, if you have a certain time to be at home you wouldn't be able to be home at that time, and you would probably struggle to tell the time by just looking at the sky because you could never be accurate about time is you don't have a clock. My final reason is if you travel to a different time zone area. You would be totally off then because you can either go up or go down hours and still wouldn't know what time it is.

I think the most interesting invention of the muslims is by far the major book of all the medical research. This book was shipped everywhere and could be used for so many different diseases or procedures. The book most likely included the cure to small pox, which was a major illness at the time. So a cure for that would be game changing.

The most interesting Muslim invention was the soap. Soap helped the Muslims clean themselves and there surgical tools. Now that the surgical tools were cleaned diseases and infections wouldn't spread.
