I think the most influential invention was the musket. I think that because it evolves into our modern day gun. The gun is a very influential thing in our society so the musket was important.
I disagree with emmanual, it had an impact, but not everyone uses it. The only people that use guns are the authorities, hunters, and well criminals sometimes.
I agree the gun was influential, but we don't need guns. We have knives bombs, and we can even use fires.
I disagree, yes it was easier to fight but i personally think that the telescope was the biggest impact.
i agree because the army would not have guns to fight in wars.other countrys would take over are country.
I agree but they weren't them most important. I mean everyone doesn't use them they can use different weapons.
I agree with you with just how influential it is but in the context of the renaissance, a time of learning and peace, didn't have much of an impact on the "rebirth" itself but it did impact war, MASSIVELY what with the much more powerful technology. In the end it has changed war altogether and if the person who had not discovered gun powder never tried to find it (on accident at least) we could be WAY behind in our technology if he did not.
I believe that the water closet made the biggest impact. I believe so, because that lead to something everone uses today, the flush toliet.
It also helped with water valve and the pumps that we have today. So, I agree without that invention we probably would not have running water or be able to move it like so.
I meant *everyone*
I have to disagree with you. Although we use it today, it was only considered by people because the queen used it. Unlike the printing press it didn't spread ideas, it was just an idea.
I think that the clock was the most influential invention from the Renaissance. Without it today we would not be able to know what time it was or when we should be leaving or arriving. With clocks we know exactly what time it is and know when we have to get somewhere. It helps us get through the day without mishaps or anything else that could happen. Without the clock we would only have mild ideas on how much was left of the day or around what time it is.
I agree with Melle that the clock was the most influential invention in the Renaissance. I think this because without it we would not be able to tell the time.
I agree with you Melle! I also chose the clock as my invention. Without it we would have no way to tell what time it is in the world. Without it we would not know how much time is left in the day.
I think the printer press was the most influential because insted of them doing what the monks did by copping everything down word by word, they could just print it. This helped them because it was faster and easier.
I think the most influential invention in the Renaissance was the Clock. I think this because without the clock we would not be able to tell time. The Watch was also an amazing invention but without the Clock the Watch would never exist. Now days people can be on time and not be late to events. That is why I think the Clock is the most influential invention in the Renaissance
I agree with jasmine. I think the printing press helped a lot, especially when the monks had to write word for word.
The printing press clearly had the biggest impact allowing books to be printed cheaper and more easily. This helped spread ideas throughout Europe much quicker than ever before. But now, the printing press is not being used anymore since there are computers and printers...and really the printing press just isn't fun to discuss in this blog since we will be discussing it much more in class. So, the invention I will say that had the biggest impact is the water closet, a.k.a. the pooper, the john, the porcelain throne, the loo, the oval office, the poop shoot, the potty, or simply the toilet. I can go on, but I think you get the point! The toilet is something that is being used everywhere today and I a guarantee you have one in your house as well! The toilet allowed for waste to be disposed of much safer than ever before and helped with the smell of #1 & #2. The toilet help stopped the spread of disease because no longer is waste being thrown out the window of homes.
I think the watch has the most importance out of all. Can you imagine not knowing what time it was? Sure you can tell by the sun but what if it's raining and the sun's not out? You could see Monday Night Football on early Saturday morning and you wouldn't see anything wrong with it.
I think the telescope because without the telescope we would not know so much about the solar system and universe.
I think the Gunpowder because for when they we in war, now they have more things to easily take out an economy. Then when the are trying to be sneaky they just have to make a bomb which they got from gunpowder and they will still have all there people.
I agree with you because gunpowder shaped the world with wars. Gunpowder turned the world into what it is now because of wars.
I think that the most important invention created was the Gutenberg Printing Press created by Johannes Gutenberg in 1436. This press helped people produce more copies of what they wanted. This later evolved in the printer.
the telescope because it gave galiao. and we would know as much as the sun jupiter or saturn.
I believe that the Telescope is the most influential as when Galileo told his findings to the people he was laughed at by the people and when he told the church he was excommunicated for going against the churches belief of the Earth being in the center of the universe. While his time was over the next astronomer and the next kept coming to prove that the church was wrong making people less and less reliant in the church.
I think gunpowder was the best invention. it was made in 850 AD by people from China. It launched fireworks as a weapon. I think it was the best invention because a bomb can kill tons of people.
I think the most important invetion was the printing press. I think this because it made copies faster. They were also cheaper when made by the printing press. The printing press led to the invetion the printer.
I totally agree with you Isabella. The press made copies way faster than re-writing copies by hand. We wouldn't have the printer we know today if we didn't have Johannes Gutenberg.
I believe that the microscope was the best invention. Even though it wasn't that complicated of a machine it amazed people. The church said that there was nothing that small, if you cant see it it wasn't real. But when they took that water that everyone drank without a care, had thousands of little creatures in it.
I think the most influential invention of the Renaissance was the clock. Without the clock we would have no way to tell time today! We use clocks everyday of our lives which is why I chose it. I use a clock everyday and I think it would be very confusing without one.
I agree with you Luke. The clock is very important, without how would tell detailed time. Yes we could look at the sun but its not exact.
I agree, if the clock wasn't invented we could be too early or too late to important things. We would be confused with everything going on.
I agree with you Luke. The clock did make a big impact, but i do not believe that it made the biggest impact.
I disagree because we still can figure out time by putting a stick in the ground. Then where ever the shadow is, that is the time.
I think the telescope was the most influential invention because it helped us realize our planet is not the only planet. It also helped us realize that there's more out there than just space. It also advanced learning in science.
I think the microscope was the most influential invention, if we didn't have the microscope we would still most likely be drinking pond water!
We would have no idea that germs existed. If we didn't a clue about germs, we would still die at a very young age.
I believe the printing press had the biggest impact. I believe this because, part of the renaissance was to spread new ideas and the printing press helped them spread quicker. We also use it today.
I believe that the musket had the biggest impact. It helped us make our modern day guns. Guns are used in war, and war has made a big impact on our society.
I think the press was the biggest. It spreaded a lot of ideas. And created new things.
I agree with Anya.It spreaded new ideas.
