If I had the choice as senator to kill Julius Caesar I would sort of be torn. I mean, all the patricians HATE him. But, all of the middle and lower class people LOVE him. I couldn't do that to anyone really. But if you MADE me choose I would say no. Just think, while you are out there cheering "I killed him! I killed Julius Caesar!", so many people called plebeians are growing angrier as you speak! Even if you were to survive and not be punished, unlikely, so many people out there want to do what you did to Julius! So no, I wouldn't kill Julius Caesar if I had the choice because I would think of what might happen! I wouldn't just act out.

I argee with you because sinse there is alot more Patricians then Plabians. Plabians could easily take over the people that killed Julius and I would not want to be killed.

I agree with you since 95% of Rome are plebians and they all trusted them. Also he was a great war leader which would lead them conquering more and more.

I agree with you, Mariah. I would be torn as well. There are so many positives about killing Caesar and there are so many negatives. I would not want to make anyone mad. If I killed Caesar the Plebeians would be mad, and the Patricians would be happy. If I didn't, the Patricians would be mad and the Plebeians would be happy.

I would be torn if I do it i would be hunted down and killed. On the other hand if I don't do it the senate might kill me themselves, but they might get exposed saving Julius Caesars life. If I don't would it change any thing at all?

I agree, but the senators didn't know that the were going to be killed. They thought that they were doing good in Rome because Julius declared himself dictator for life. He also was unequal in treatment for the poor and rich.

i would NOT kill ceaser for many reasons.ONE! it was not fair to the poor to be poor and ceaser gives the poor a chance to finally wear the color red, but the rich DON,T LIKE IT!ITS LIKE ASSASSINATING DONALD TRUMP FOR WINNING THE ELECTION JUST FOR SOME STUPID OPINION! that,s messed up.

I defiantly agree in sentence two when you said that he didn't make the poor to be poor but to be equal with the patritians I also really like your world connection for it being "messed up" to kill ceasar and GET KILLED SOON AFTER!!!

I will not kill Julius Ceasar. Because all of the poor was very happy with him.But all the Patricians hated him.I will not be one of those senators because killing someone is bad,but they were hunted down by Antony and Octavian. The day he died was:March 15th 44 B.C. known as "the Ides of March".I will never kill a very good person like Ceasar he had wonderful kids(I hope he did).He was dating Cleopatra she was the hottest woman alive then.Well this is is my blog response to cover up the fact I did not do it last time. This one was so long.Sorry Mr.Kaciuba I had a lot to say.see ya later blog bye.

I am torn between killing Caesar as a Senator. I wouldn't want to do it because I am a senator and I represent Rome. Also, I wouldn't do it because I could get hunted down or killed for it and I think killing is wrong. The plebeians love him, but the patricians hate him, so no matter what I did I would have people mad at me. I would want to kill Cesar because he started a Civil War in Rome. He also claimed himself dictator for life. If I was a senator, it would be really hard for me to decide if I would have killed Caesar.

I agree with you about how the different classes would be angry even if you do/do not kill Caesar. I also liked how you said that the senators represent Rome, so your decision plays a big part on Rome.

I agree with you Zach because I would be torn on weather to kill him or not. Many people loved him and many didn't. Like you said many people would be mad if you killed him or not. I would be torn on killing him because he did good things for Rome and bad things for Rome.

I guess I'm just the crazy one here! I think the senators should have killed Caesar. He was destroying the republic. The govt. was set up a specific way and there were laws to protect it. The fear most Romans had at the time was one person gaining to much power and becoming a king like Tarquin. That is why there are 2 consuls and they each could have power for only 1 year. Caesar destroyed all of that. He became "Dictator for life." What if he was just helping out the poor to gain popularity and once he had the power he would have begun to abuse the power? Now murder is never right. But what if President Elect Trump declares himself President for life? How would you feel then?

This is honestly what I think. I would be perfectly fine with killing Julius Caesar, but I still do see all the negatives of killing him. If I was a senator and had the opportunity to kill the man who called himself "dictator for life" and started a civil war, I would like to end it before it gets any worse. I do see the negatives where all the senators got hunted down by the plebeians or just took their own lives. It says in the question that I am a senator, and to be honest, I wouldn't care what the plebeians think about him. I would be really selfish if I was a senator.

I sort of agree. I mean he did declare himself "Dictator For Life" and started a civil war. But, I do think it is wrong to kill somebody. Especially considering he was popular with so many people in his community.

I feel that I am torn between killing Julius and not. As a senator, I probably would. Julius was unequal in giving the poor and rich the same treatment. He cared for the poor more than the rich. As a senator, I would be angry at him for declaring himself dictator for life. But, he also did good for Rome. Still as a senator I probably would kill him because he was unequal to the poor and rich.

While I do agree with you that if I were a senator I would want to kill him, because I would be very angry that the poor were being treated better than patricians. But it would be very, very hard for me to kill him because he did so many great things for Rome.

I would because he called himself "dictator for life" which is unfair to rome. But...also I wouldn't because he made the pleblians and patritians equal in rome which made the patritians MAD. I honestly would go either or.....

(hold up I'm adding on) but now I really think to myself...do I want to kill ceasar and then get killed later, or stay with a dictator for life who make rich & poor equal but still have negatives? I think I'll go with ceasar not being killed to have(hope to) a longer lasting life...

I would be torn if I had to kill Julius Cesar because there are positives and negatives of killing him. Julius was nicer to the poor and treated then close to how he treated the rich. Also many people were mad that he declared himself dictator for life. Cesar did do many good things for Rome. If I was a senate of representative of Rome it would be hard for me to kill him or not.

I would not kill Caesar for many reasons like the fact he was a great war leader and knew how to win battles. Also he knew how the plebians were mistreated and that he could help them. Plus Caesar knew how to reason with people since he went to school so people would like him.

No, I would NOT kill Julius Cesar for many reasons. 1. I'd probably go crazy ( Not like I already am) with all the anger, guilt and sadness. 2. the plebeians would probably be really mad and I would probably be killed by them. I understand he was a terrible and selfish ruler but I'm extremely sensitive and would go crazy.

I agree with you because as I said in my response, I would also go crazy, and that is true that the Plebeians would hate me. Overall as I said I would not kill him, I really wonder how Romans did it!

I would not kill Julius Cesar for many reasons. One of the reasons I would not kill him is because I would have to live with the guilt of knowing I killed someone which would make me go insane. Another reason I would not kill him is because almost everyone would hate me. Most of the population is lower class who loved him and I would only have to deal with some of the population that is poor who would hate me.

If I had a choice as a senator I would not have killed Julius Caesar. First, I wouldn't be able to live with all of the guilt from killing somebody. Second, he made things fair for the plebians, and all of them would hate me and try to kill me since I killed their amazing leader. Third, he did many great things for Rome, and I wouldn't want to take that all away.
