I think the most interesting part of the Middle Ages was learning about the Black Death. I liked learning about the Black Death because I thought it was interesting how the disease began. I had no clue a sickness could start from fleas bitting infected rats and then having the fleas pass it on. The Black Death game was also fun and I like how we got to infect other places with read beans. Also, I liked learning about the Vikings because I learned a lot of things I did not know before, such as how they have ships with a shallower bottom. The Viking game was also fun.

I agree with you, Zach. I thought the plague was one of those interesting topics we learned during the Middle Ages. It was pretty cool learning about the symptoms and the 'cures' the doctors recommended to stop the plague, which ended up not working at all.

I agree with you Zach because the Black Death was an interesting part of the Middle Ages. I liked to learn about how the disease began and how it effected people. Also how the game represented the Black Death with the red and white beans.

I thought one of the most interesting things was learning about the bubonic plague. The plague killed about 25 million people. That's like 8 x's Chicago's population.

I agree with you Sergio. I also thought it was interesting. But I didn't know that it killed that many people. I didn't think chicago was that big XD.

I liked learning about Charlemagne and the Franks because they stopped the muslim expansion into Europe. Also, liked learning about the torture method of the middle ages. My favorite is the bloody eagle because the person who came up with it must be really messed up. Another one I liked is The rack because you literally are being pulled apart on a table.

I think the most interesting part about learning was the black death. Because I thought it was about a lot of war but it is just a disease that the fleas got into a lot of rats, that killed 1/3 of Europe. One more thing I want to be a suriver of the black death (If I was in that time of the middle ages) I hoped you enjoyed this long blog question.

My favorite part of the Middle Ages unit was learning about the Bubonic Plague, or better known as the Black Death. I liked learning that it originated from fleas biting infected rats and then giving the plague to unsuspecting people. I also liked learning about the symptoms of the plague and how it affected so many people that didn't understand how to cure it. I also thought the 'cures' people used to treat the plague back then was interesting, that the song "Ring Around The Rosy" is really about the plague, The one thing I did not like learning was the fact that when I was so young, I sang a song about death.

I agree with Mariah because i was fun learning how the black death was a disease that can get to any person if they kiss or touch each other .Some people would not probably know if they have it or know if anyone else has it.

I agree. The game with the beans was fun because it showed us how quickly it spread. I cant believe that millions of people died because of such a little thing.

I think the most interesting part of the Middle Ages unit was the Black Death. It seems that even the smallest things can have a huge impact. Fleas biting rats caused millions of people to die. I hope that this will never happen again because it would wipe out millions of people again.

I agree with you. It seems like the tiniest things we might not even think about could have a huge impact on the world. Also, it would be really terrifying if the plague were to strike again during our lifetime.

I think the most interesting was the Viking. They were ferocious and only attacked churches. I also liked the berzerkers and the 9 man morris.

The funnest part about the Middle Ages was the Black Death. The Black Death Game was fun, it showed how easily the disease spread. Learning about the Vikings was the most interesting along with the Crusades. And to make the vikings fun, the choose your own adventure game was a favorite for me. I thought the tortures were the best to leave off of to get into the Renaissance. With a couple of Game of Thrones references I shouldn't get but did get, this was the best unit.

My favorite part about the middle ages was learning about the Black Death. It was interesting playing the game and seeing how easily the disease spread. I also enjoyed seeing all the tortures and wondering how people came up with all the different, harsh punishments.

The most interesting thing to learn about to me was the Bubonic plague. I thought it was very interesting to learn what happened to people during the time of the disease, and what happened around them or during that time. To me the Bubonic plague was just a very interesting topic to learn about mainly because I have never really heard of a disease that bad.
