I believe Julius Caesar had the biggest impact because he is the one who changed Rome from a Republic to an Empire. He was also the first Patrician to show respect to a Plebian. He also shaped the rules of being an emperor.

I agree with Nico because Julius Caesar was smart and his decision to change the republic to a empire. That has changed the way people remember Rome.

But how does getting stabbed help the empire? He started the Empire and him getting stabbed is an unfortunate time for the Roman empire.

I think that Neuro had the biggest impact on Rome because he was the one to ban christianity from Rome. This was a big impact because he lost a lot of loyal followers by killing a lot of people because they followed the christianity religion. This was also making a lot of people mad, but at the same time he was enertaining a lot of people.

I think that Julius Caesar had the biggest impact on Rome as a good emperor because he was the one emperor that most of the population loved. He helped the plebians be equal to the patricians. He also started the Roman Empire.

I agree completely. He DID change the republic into an empire and made the poor feel like they were people! And you're right, MOST of the republic loved him but that's because most of the population were plebeians, not those rich patricians.

I believe that Octavian had the most influence on the empire. I believe this is true because he was the technical first emperor. Another reason why I think he was a good ruler is because instead of calling himself emperor he called himself first citizen. Last but not least a reason he was a good ruler was because he listened to the senate when he needed help.

I think that Constantine had the greatest impact on the Roman Empire because he moved the capital of Rome to Constantinople. He also was the one that made Christianity equal to all other religions. He accepted this religion and believed in Christianity.

I agree with you because then Rome the city wasn't as rich since Constantnople got all the tax.Plus he did accept the religion since he saw the sign in the sky.

I agree with you, Jordan. Constantine did life the ban of Christianity and stopped the persecution of Christians. This helped Rome out. I think if the Constantine did not do this, Rome would've been completely different.

I agree with you Jordan because Consitine did make Christianity legal in Rome. Also he did move the capital of Rome to Constanipole. Constintine allowed Christianity and was Christian. I think that he did have one of the biggest impacts on the Roman Empire.

I think Diocletian had a bad impact on Rome. Although he split Rome in two, it made Rome(West) very poor and The Byzantine empire(East) very wealthy. This made Rome end in 476 A.D. and The Byzantine Empire ended in 1453 A.D. That is nearly 1000 years later.

I think Diocletion had a good impact on rome.I think this beacuse the only reason why he split rome beacuse he knew this big of a empire could not be ruled by only one person

I think Diocletian had a good impact on the roman empire. He had a impact because he divided the empire too two parts. He knew the empire was too large to be controlled only by one person. He elected his co empire to rule Rome while he ruled Byzantine empire

I disagree with you Carlos. I don't think that it was good that Diocletian split Rome because one side was poor and one side was richer.

I BELIEVE that Julius Ceasar made the biggest impact by how he treated the poor.He treated the pleblians & patricians equal in Rome. When Julius conquered he gave the citizens a home in Rome. Also (correct me if i'm wrong) he gave the plebians a home INSIDE not outside the walls.

I believe that Julius Caesar had the biggest impact on Rome as a good emperor. Most of the population had loved and cherished him but who killed him? Patricians or the rich. Also, not only did he make plebeians feel equal to patricians but he also changed Rome into a empire.

I also agree with jenni and Cara that Constantine had a big impact on Rome. I think the biggest reason was because he lifted the ban on Christianity which made a huge impact back then and even still today because there are many Christina's in the world

I think out of all the emperors julius had the biggest impact, in a good way and here are a few reasons why. One thing Julius did was Change the republic to an empire and another thing he did was he made the plebeians feel like they were loved and cared for. That's eh I believe Julius made the biggest impact in Rome.

I think Julius Caesar had a good and the biggest impact on Ancient Rome. He changed how the government worked ( Republic into an Empire) and showed respect to the plebeians . I know that he "Ruined Rome" but but in my opinion he changed it the most.
