I think Justinian's greatest accomplishment was when Theodora told him to stop being a baby and be the man I now and fight the green and blue. What I really thought was mind blowing was when he killed 500 people in 1 minute. WOW!. Also Justinian created Justinian's code witch helped women farm land and have more rights. That is my reason on how Justinian made a change.

Putting down the rebels of the Nika rebellion I think was more cruel than anything. Violent protests are never the answer but to kill 30,000 people is ruthless. And that is exactly what Justinian did. I think the Hagia Sophia is pretty impressive. Building any structure that large and that fast (6 years), without the modern technically we have today is unimaginable. I think it was smart to rush the building of the project so he would get/ be given credit for its construction.

I think Justinian's greatest accomplishment was when he built the Hagia Sophia. because it was the most important building in Constantinople. and it has one of the biggest domes ever.

I agree with you. He did build one of the biggest domes for the next hundred years. I still think that the conquering was bigger, but this could because I think that the conquering is more a Roman thing.

I think that reconquring most of Rome was his greatest accomplishment. I think this because he conquered a lot of land that took years to conquer. He also should have started something but the other emperors did not want to keep his work going. Though this he could have restored Rome to its former glory that would make the bizintens real Romans.

I think that conquering was one of the best things he did. He went and conquered because he thought it should be roman territory again. Putting down the Nika Rebellion also was a great thing. In the ashes of what they did rose the all and mighty Haiga Sophia. which was built in six years. It took them 6 years to build the greatest church of their time and it takes us 7 years to build a road.

I think that Justanens gratest accomplishments was the hagia Sofia. Because it was the best buliding there were people could also pray. People also go there to look at all the hard work that only took a few years.

I think that Justinian's Code was his greatest accomplishment because it gave women more rights that they had before this new code. This gave women rights to inherit property, farm land, and just do things in general that they wouldn't have been able to do before this code. I also thought that when he built the Hagia Sofia, it kinda set a good image for Justinian's empire.

I think the brining down of the Nika rebellion. It was brave of him to kill all thse people even though it was bad. Theodora did a great job convincing Justinian to stay and fight instead of fleeing.

I agree with you Tyler because he was very smart by making a plan like that. It had to be very effective because that stopped the Nika rebellion.

I agree with you Tyler because it took some guts to kill almost 30,000 people and he had to be brave to do it. It was great of Theodora to convince him to stay, but I feel like if Justinian would have left 30,000 people wouldn't be dead.

I think that Justinian's greatest accomplishment is that he built the Hagia Sophia. The church is huge and people go there all the time to look at the architecture. The building of the church was accomplished in only six years.

I think it was Justinian's code. I think it was this because it was the first form of women's equal rights. This gave women a chance to start doing thing their way. Yea it was only really letting women inherit land but it was a start. I thing that is mostly a accomplishment

I agree Deniyah because this code gave women many rights that we have today. I also agree that having women inherit property was a start because it showed that women CAN do things that men do too, which adds more and more things women can do to the list.

Putting down the Nika rebellion was Justinian's greatest accomplishment. To kill almost 30,000 people is insane. I feel like if his people would have dealt with it a better way they wouldn't be dead.
