I think that the longbow has the biggest impact because it can be used as a melee and ranged weapon. You can fire arrows and then hit someone with your bow. I also really like bows.
The longbow was definitely the sniper of the middle ages. But, the crossbow was the strongest weapon of the time; the AK47 of the middle ages. P.S. I like bows too. ;)
No Brandon you have a point crossbows are the best because of the power and distance but I would not say its the best thing because I say the full body armor.
Brandon, I disagree with you. If you only had crossbows then, the battles would be longer and more painful because arrows are less accurate at close to long range.
No. The cross bow is very powerful and it shoots as far as the long bow does. Now the crossbow is pretty heavy though.
I agree with you the longbow you can hit someone from a long distance. That kill them if they were close because it's meant to go far.
I agree with you Sean because it was a very good ranged weapon. It had really good accuracy, too.
I believe that the crossbow was most effective on the battlefeild, because it could be used for rannge and evolved into the gun eventually.
I partly agree with you, Nathan. The crossbow was good, but they were pretty big back then. When you could've easily had a long bow to carry around, why would you use a crossbow?
I would use the crossbow to get a long range shot with relitive ease. A longbow required a lot of strength to opperate and you could drow it and it at any time. A crossboy was still hard but less of a chance to have it go off.
I agree with you. All they had to do was encorporate gunpowder into the cross bow, and there you have a gun.
I think the full body armor had the most impact during wars. This is because it was mostly metal on the outside so it would be hard to break. Also you can punch and hit hard and it wouldn't hurt as much.
The armor was good but the cross bow could just be use and take it down because it was so strong the pope disliked it and banned it
I can see what you're going but the body armor is very heavy and it's very hot so you would not be able to fight at your full energy the whole time. It will be easy to be defended glad you will get tired and is not going to get tired and down. This is why the crossbow is the best.
I completely agree with you, Anthony. The armor was very good at protecting a soldier, however it was super heavy and hot, and you cannot fight very well with it on. Although the armor was advanced, I think it cause Europe's armies to be more on the defensive side than offensive.
The crossbow totally had the biggest impact. It required no ability or skill. The weapon was very powerful giving it a large ratio of kills to ammunition, therefore was more efficient. Finally no other weapon was ever at risk of being outlawed. The crossbow was for sure the weapon that left the biggest in the battlefield and in a knight's shield.
I agree with you Brandon because cross bows did totally have a big impact.
I say the crossbow you need no training and it was so easy to use and it would go far and could penetrate a full plate body armor once it lands and no skill needed and the pope banned it because just how bad it was that means its dangerous.
I think the full body armor would be the best. I think its the best because you would be protected by it and also you can use the helmet as a weapon and after that you can pick up there weapon.
I agree with you Triston, because the armor will protect there whole body and not just one thing. But at the same time if the person hits, stab, etc. hard enough it will go right through the armor and kill you.
I agree with you Tristion. The full body armor would protect your whole body, but then again I also agree with Anthony because something could also go right thorough the armor.
I think that the Crossbow had the most impact on the battle field, because it looked like it had the most accuracy and the strongest impact. Also, the morning star because if you hit somebody hard enough with it will go right through the person and kill them. These weapons both made an impact on Medieval society.
I think the crossbow because came in it was a very powerful use of a bow. The other weapons are really good but this one has the better game than any other one also going to high-speed it can slice through anything. That is why I think a crossbow is the best to use.
Crossbow. The crossbow was a strong bow that shot really fast. It had a powerful hits. It was super strong bow.
I think the crossbow was the most effective. I think this was the most effective weapon because it was the closest to a gun. This is important because a gun is a very powerful weapon.
Yes that is true but without the armour anything kills you. Without armour everyone would be dead in a secend. You cant do any harm dead.
The morning star and a knights sword would only work if you are close to the enemy you were fighting. The good things about the bow's of the time is you could kill while riding on horseback and they had a very long range. The part that tips the scales for me is that you could pre-load a crossbow where the long bow was very heavy and took lots of time to train for. If you needed to go into battle fast, you didn't have time for armies to learn to use that weapon, so in my opinion the crossbow was the best.
I think a morning star because they have spikes on them. That would really hurt and cause a lot of damage. It is light and not heavy either.
I think the nights sword had the best impact on the battle. I say this because you can block with it and you can only fight with close rang were most of the people on the battle field are.
I think that the sword had the biggest impact. I think so because, if the sword didn't exist, then most fights would only be bows and arrows. That would mean longer fights because arrows are less accurate.
I think that the Longbow had the most impact. This is because it had great accuracy. It also was a ranged weapon.
I think the most afective thing was the armour. I think this because without it you will be vurnable to everything. When you have it though less things kill you.
Mark I see were your coming from with the armor and it would protect u more, but it would also be really heavy, for example like when we held the chains in class they were a lot more heavy then I thought they would have been. Carrying all of that armor on you, you would be really hot
In my opinion, the longbow would be the most affective weapon to use on the battle field. With the longbow, you're able to kill somebody while you're on a horseback or if you're just somewhere far away. Also, considering how fast an arrow travels, imagine how badly it would damage or wound a person. This is why, in my opinion, the longbow would be a perfect weapon to use on the battlefield.
I think the cross bow had the most impact because, it had a lot of power and it can kill someone easily. plus it was easy to use.
Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
