I completely agree with you Etta, because it took a lot of time especially when it fell down by earthquakes. Also, the bigger it was the it was going to take.

I think the biggest accomplishment by Justinian is the Hagia Sophia. I think this, because it probably took the most time out of all his other accomplishments. It needed to have a lot of effort put into it.

I see where you are coming from, Armoné, but those two professors that he hired did most of the work. He kind of built it because he came up with the idea of a church, but he didn't build it.

I agree with you. The Hagia Sophia is a very important church in Justinian's time. Even though it was taken over, it only took 6 years to build this great accomplishment.

I agree with you armone because Justinian even destroyed it just to make it bigger and I like the picture of the Christian faith on the walls letting the ppl of Rome go with their own

I believe that Emperor Justinian's biggest accomplishment was making the Justinian Code. He just found old Roman laws and made them better for children and women with the help of Theodora. I also think building the Hagia Sophia could've been his biggest accomplishment, but the Justinian Code is more important.

I agree because one of Romes biggest problems was fugitives. Ordinary people couldn't understand the law so how could they follow it? Justinian tried to make sure that the Byzantine Empire didn't end and the Justinian code defiantly helped.

I agree that Justinian's Code is a very significant accomplishment of Justinian. This code helped the poor understand the laws in the Empire. Theodora was the one who came up with the idea because she was a poor herself which does make this accomplishment even more significant. Overall, I could see your point Sean.

I think the Hagia Sophia was Justinian's most important accomplishment. I think this is his best accomplishment because this very large cathedral was built in only 6 years. It also once fell down, but then they rebuilt it because it was a competition for two people to finish their side first.

Hands down the Hagia Sophia was Justinian's best accomplishment . Even today people can't build that fast I mean seriously only 6 years?! He must have been very respected and trusted to have workers that build that fast.

I also, think the Justinian code was a great law especially when you can sell your kids for money I just think that is cruel and unusual. But the reason why it is good because it gave more respect to the woman how they get to vote and so forth

I agree that that it was one of his greatest accomplishments, because like you said to descriminate due to how a person was born is so stupid. It's not like you decided "Oh, when I'm gonna be born, I'm gonna be a boy" . It's just not right to descriminate by gender. Or by anything else for that matter

I think that justinians greatest accomplishment was that he made the Haigha Sophia. I think so because, it was a giant cathedral that was made in only 6 years! That's not even with modern tech. Plus, I think it's his greatest accomplishment because it proved that he was loyal to his religion.

I think Justinian's conquering of the land around Mediterranean was his greatest accomplishment. He still considered himself a Roman, as well as almost all citizens of the Byzantine Empire. It also helped with over population.

I think the biggest accomplishment would be the Justinian code.If they didn't have the code the lower class and mostly women wouldn't have the rights they had then. They also know the laws and its easy for them to read the laws so they don't get in trouble.
