What do you think was the worst thing about the Dark Ages? (Lack of Government and authority/law, regression of advancements when compared to Rome, disease, lack of education, life expectancy dropping 10 years of age, constant war, other things...). I think that the worse thing about the Dark Ages was the Bubonic Plague. I think this was the worse thing about the Dark Ages because it killed about 20 million people! It also made a lot of people suffer. The people who did not die from the disease most likely would die from starvation. This disease was not good and it was a very bad time in the Dark Ages.

I agree with Regis A. because it made millions of people suffer, as Regis said. Also, if someone didn't die from the disease then they would die from starvation. This is why it was a very dark time.

I agree with Regis that the black death was a large problem in the dark ages. I have changed my mind about the water poisoning being the worst problem. The black death was contagious and the people who had it went through a lot of pain.

I think the worst thing in the Dark Ages was the Bubonic Plague. It killed many people and decreased the population. It was very deadly and many people caught it. It killed millions of people. If someone did not catch the disease they would most likely die from starvation.

I think that the worst thing in the dark ages was the lack of education since education dropped and most people didn't have a school. So most of the education is now lost because most people don't know anything so they now have to rely on the books so if the viking raided books then they will be no information about it.

I think that sickness of the water was the worst part of the dark ages. I think this because it's unhealthy for kids to drink beer and if they don't they will either die of dehydration or die of bacteria in the water.

I believe that constant war was the most miserable thing in the Dark ages. I believe this because, the population can decrease from having so many wars and having people fight a lot. Another reason is that it can cost a lot of money for these fights. It takes a lot for armor and weapons which can put Europe in a bad situation for money. Disease is a bad thing in Europe, but during wars, disease can spread just from that. That is why I believe that constant wars in the Dark ages was the worst.

I agree with Myles. The lack of money and armor/tools really affected them. I don't know why they would even think of battling in that condition, unless of course it wasn't them who attacked first.

I think it was the Black Death (Bubonic Plague). I think this because, it killed nearly 60% percent of Europe's population. 10,000 people died each day! People would suddenly become ill with headaches and fevers and black patches formed on the skin, all because of a tiny insect!

I agree with you Izzy S. I agree with you because, I also think that the Bubonic Plague was one of the most miserable things in the dark ages. I also agree with you because, the Bubonic Plague killed 10,000 people each day which was very miserable, but yet good for the survivers. It was also miserable since thousands of people had died from the fleas from an insect. This is why I agree with Izzy S.

I think that the bubonic plague was the most dangerous. I believe this because the bubonic plague was also called black death. About 1/3 of the world was affected by the bubonic plague. The reason why so many people died because of the bubonic plague is because there was a boat sent to them with infected rats on it which made people very ill. It first started with a headache and then people started getting there skin turned a different color. They got very ill and ended up dying. One of the people that were affected was emperor justinian but he ended up surviving. This was the worst thing of the bubonic plague.

I agree with you Tony. The Bubonic plague was the most dangerous. The transfer of diseases affected the entire empire. Since the emperor Justinian was affected, the sever fever that came unto him caused him to be in a 103-104 degree body temperature. This fried Justinian's brain. The frying caused his body to act differently.

This is not the most important but I think it's the regression of advancements. The reason for this is because if they would've had more advancements it would've helped us for today's life with technology and buildings and stuff.

I think the worst thing about the dark ages was that people's lives dropped 10 years of age. People had to work extra hard because there was not a lot of people left. But on the bright side they got paid more.
