I would say Japan because they had ninjas. It is interesting how they were farmers before but they had to become ninjas because of the emperor Ieyasu. I would also have to say China because China invented gunpowder, which helped the U.S create guns. Although, all the Asian civilizations were great.

I agree that Japan was the most interesting. It was because of the Ninjas, they were stealthy and didn't have much of a leader.

Yes I agree with you Cloie K. I say this because of the ninjas and how they walk and how they became a ninja and why. Also, that the ninjas were beating the samurai and they have no armor.

Yes, Dhwani, the Ninjas in Japan were very interesting to learn about. They worked in stealth and bombed, destroyed, vandalized, assassinated, and mutilated things. They were very Elite but they were poor at the same time. I definitely agree with you that Japan was the most interesting

I think the most interesting place I learned about was Japan. It was the most interesting because of the Samurai and the Ninjas. The Ninja were attacking the Samurai, and the Ninjas were beating the Samurai.

I totally agree with you, Wally. Japan was very interesting. I mean it adopted a policy of isolationism for a long time; which was good and bad in a way. Also, the ninjas and samurai were very cool. The ninjas were very sneaky whereas the samurai were the total opposite. The samurai would meet its opponent on the battlefield. The ninjas would trick its opponent and be camouflaged with the environment. This was because they didn't have much training because they were just peasants who thought that they needed to do something else because they weren't treated fairly. So, yes, I agree with you Wally. Japan was very interesting;)

I really agree with you. Ninjas are, in my opinion, the best stealth warriors out there. But basing your answer to the question on just the military they have? I think there is more to it.

You say Japan was the most interesting because of the Samurai and Ninjas, but you don't give valid reasoning on to why you think this way. All you give us is what the they're doing, so maybe you should put some more detail into maybe why they were fighting each other.

I agree with Jacobs point but, not his reasoning. I agree Japan was not that interesting of a civilization but, I thought the Ninjas were the only thing that made Japan interesting.

I found China the most interesting due to how differently their culture was compared to the rest of the world. They were advanced in pottery and made a wide variety of clothing with the use of Silk, and no other country was striving towards such artwork. And I find it amazing how a whole country's way of life is contingent on what its land consists of, such as high mountains or scorched deserts.

I think that the most interesting civilization was Japan because of the rules of the samurai. Like the rule of the Seppaku. That is when you commit suicide after your leader dies by your enemy.

I choose China because the Mongols had the most land ruled by an Empire ever. Also, the Mongols had one of the greatest leaders ever, Genghis Khan. The Mongols though failed to counquer Japan by getting hit by a cyclone.

In my opinion it was China. This question made me think but the mongols took over my brain on how cool they where and how much land they conquered. They weren't the biggest army but they were so skilled.

I think by far Japan is the most interesting civilization we learned about. They were run by a feudal government which is very neat in my opinion. Also they had Samurai, Ninjas, and many more elite Samurai like Daimyo, and Shoguns. They were very interesting and were a very powerful government and army. That is why I think Japan is the most interesting civilization we learned about.
