I believe Genghis Khan was the most successful. He was the one who started the Mongolian conquest, and the one to conquer most of the middle east. In short Genghis did all the hard work, and by the time Kublai came along he had it easy, as most of the middle east had already been conquered.

I agree because in G Khan really set a example. G Khan would not be able to set the example for K Khan. G Khan really expanded the empire and K Khan continued that.

If the Mongols never existed, then all that land would either be unclaimed or home to many barbaric tribes.

I agree with you Niko D. I say this because he worked really hard and before Kublai even came he had it easy. Also, he started the Mongulian conquest which is very good for the people.

I agree with Niko. Genghis Khan is more successful. He conquered nearly all of the Middle East. Also he conquered most of the other land by bringing fear to enemies.

I agree with you completely. Kublai came to power with all of this land conquered. Though he did re-open the silk road.

I think Genghis Khan was more successful than Kublai Khan. He was the world's greatist conqueror. He also led the Mongol empire to be the largest empire in the world. If they would face of in a battle, he would win.

I think that the most successful person was Genghis Khan. He conquered many lands and had many babies.

I agree with the general idea of your statement, but the part that says he had many babies doesn't really support the idea that we was a great conqueror. Just an irrelevant comment in my opinion, but overall I agree.

I agree that Genghis Khan was the most successful person. But even though in my comment I said that he made most of the population i must agree with Niko, he didn't care for those children he didn't even take them he left them.

I think Genghis Khan was more successful because he conquered more land and fought and won many wars by bringing fear to his enemies. Yes he might have been very harsh to people in general if they were not Mongols ( especially if they were from an enemy tribe or a tribe the Mongols were going to soon fight for) but in the long run I think he did more good than bad, (for the Mongols anyway)

I think that Genghis Khan was the most successful person. He had conquered much land and the battle strategies were on mostly his ideas rather than Kublai's ideas. He also was great because he made most of the population in different areas.

I guess I will play devils advocate in this posting. In my opinion Kublai Khan had a greater impact. Thought Genghis created the Mongol Empire, it was Kublai who grew it to its greatest extent by conquering China. At the time China was a much greater/stronger empire than anything Genghis had conquered. Secondly, because of Kublai the silk road was reopened and important inventions like gunpowder and the compass made its way to Europe.

I agree with you Mr. Kaciubia. I definitely think that Kublai Khan was more successful. If it weren't for Kublai Khan then the empire wouldn't have grown as much. Kublai Khan made the empire the largest in the world. If it was just Genghis Khan then the empire wouldn't have been as famous. It would have been an average empire. Also, Kublai Khan was the one would brought all the inventions into Europe. If Kublai Khan didn't do that then, it would impact if we were to win or lose a war. For instance, if we went to war with the Eastern civilization, it is more likely that they would win because they have more sophisticated technology and weaponry. I think that Kublai Khan was definitely more successful.

I think Genghis Khan was more successful. I think this because he conquered a lot of land. He conquered the majority of Asia. His land expanded to the most for an individual leader. That is why he is a more accomplished ruler than Kublia Khan.

I think that Genghis Khan was the most successful and/or important. He conquered quite a bit of land. He also was the one that unified the clans and made the mongol empire in the first place. Also, if Genghis Khan didn't exist, neither would Kublai Khan.
