I think that the Colosseum is the most impressive because many people fought and died in it. This was a form of entertainment to the Romans. It was absolutely huge! It could fit over 50,000 people! And this was man-made. For people of these early times to be able to build such a place is absolutely awe-inspiring!

I agree with you because thought that fighting was entertaining. I did not read all about the Colosseum so I am just wondering if they have to pay to get in.

I agree with you Ethan but you have to think about just how many people also died, just BUILDING the thing! but it also must have sent Rome into bankruptcy for a time because it HAS to cost fortunes.

I agree with Ethan. The Colosseum was very cool, but I think it's weird that their entertainment was "death" (watching people kill each other)

I agree Ethan, 50,000 people is a lot of people. And just imagine all the people who had to make it and how long it would take.

The Colosseum was very, very incredible. Just the amount of how many people it can hold is incredible. Making a building that big and having a design like that was very impressive too.

I think the Colosseum was the most interesting. I think that because sometimes I wonder how much and if they had to pay to get in. I am guessing if they did they would raise the price if there was an emperor there. I would think that they would treat an emperor like a celebrity. Like when a celebrity is somewhere they would probably raise the price so they could get more money.

I agree with you Autumn. I agree with you because it was miraculous what it was used for. I´m also curious what the admission fee was to get in the arena to see a fight. Maybe it was free. We may never know what the actual cost was.

I could understand how and why you would chose that. But in my opinion the taj mahal is way more cooler than the colosseum. Well, in my opinion.

I think that Machu picchu is the most impressive, not just because the the build itself but the landscape. Its on a mountain range with its amazing valley that's filled with green and plants. When the clouds roll in a make it misty it is even more amazing. Then the build itself, its amazing that that the city is still preserved. Plus how that terraformed the land, they have made thsi block shaped stair thing.

I think it was impressive too, because it must be hard to change the landscape without modern tools. They also did a great job on where it is.

I find Petra to be the most impressive. It is a building carved into the side of the Pink Sandstone Cliffs in Jordan, Asia. When I look at pictures of all of the other Wonders of the World the design of Petra stands out to me the most.

I believe that Christ the redeemer is the most impressive because how would you create a giant statue on a hill without it toppling over. They also were able to keep the arms in the air, which is hard since they are heavy.

I agree with you Emmanuel, Christ the Redeemer is really impressive. I also wonder the same thing, how it stands up without falling. This wonder really stood out to me.

I think that the coloseum is the most impressive ,not in size or how it was built but how it looks now. back then it must have looked huge and glorious but now as it has been used to create other buildings from Rome's ruble it looks even more great as it somehow looks amazing still, broken and destroyed.

I think the taj mahal because it looks like a fasinating place and it is just one big tomb for two people and built for a wife is pretty darn fasinating. And since it had a lot of like rubies and marble it must be pretty awesome.

I liked the Taj Mahal. Since it was made completely out of Marble I find it beautiful. It was so cute how Shah Jahan made it for his "favorite" wife.(second wife) I also liked how they were both by each other in a tomb when dead and the gems do look cool on their tombs. My aunts house kinda looks similar to the Taj Mahal (material wise).

Out of the seven wonders of the world I think the colosseum is the most impressive. It fit a lot of people. It also was were lots of people died. Mostly because of their beliefs which was very unfair.

Back in thier time, it wasn't unfair because if they believed they should have been punished. Even if it was not nice.

In my opinion I think that The Great Pyramids of Giza were the most impressive. They were made by the slaves and most men died in the making of the pyramids. The weight of some of the materials they had to move were huge, but the slaves still were forced to do it. The view of the pyramids is amazing but what is amazing to me is the history and how they were made. What was also interesting was what they were used for, they were tombs for emperors and their families, while they also contained traps to keep out bandits.

I agree with you Melle, the Great Pyramids of Giza are amazing, with the people dedication to there rulers. Even today with our machinery it would be nearly impossible to build a pyramid like that.

I think that the Great Pyramid of Giza was the most impressive because it always makes me wonder how exactly did the Egyptians build it. They must've been really smart.

I think the Colosseum is the best because of how many people it could fit even when it was made back then. It was also a very interesting source of entertainment that worked for the people. Since it could fit so many people it probably inspired many stadiums today.

I find all of the 7 Wonders to be extremely impressive. It amazes me how much these civilizations were able to create without modern technology or machines. But if I had to choose one, I guess I would pick the Roman Colosseum as the most impressive. This stadium is as large as many stadiums today, seating over 50,000 people. In addition to the number of people, it was also said that it could be flooded to hold naval battles. Finally, the engineering of this stadium has allowed for it to last nearly 2,000 years, even after much of the stone was quarried for other buildings after Rome fell.

I think the light house was the greatest out of the 7 wonders because... It was the largest man made building in the world. Another reason is also because... it was built between 280 and 247 and is still here today.
