I believe the Song dynasty had the biggest impact. It was first to use fractions. That's an advancement for education purposes. It also used gunpowder first. That's for war purposes.

I agree, the fractions most likely helped with trade and other important things. The gunpowder helped a lot during wars and it was a smart thing too.

I agree Jeremy, I also think Song dynasty had the biggest impact. The fact that they had made gunpowder had a really big impact especially because it could help them win more wars. I am also really excited to start learning more about the Song Dynasty because they invented fractions. A lot of people think fractions are hard but I think they are really fun and easy. I don't even know if the other cultures develop the fractions.

I agree with you Jeremy, gunpowder was very useful. For Frag grenades and fireworks. I think is funny how other opponents thought there were wizards and the grenades were magic.

I think that the Tang dynasty had the biggest influence on China. The Empress Wu Hou helped China greatly. She strengthened China's government by having the civil service exam consist of poetry and history of China. Instead of just choosing the higher ranked people she had citizens take tests for the position. That brought the talented people into the government instead of dumb rich people. Paper money was also invented that replaced coins. The new paper money was lighter and easy to carry around and easier for trade.

I agree with you Melle. I would also say the Tang dynasty also impacted China a lot. I definitely agree with how you said civil services strengthened China's government. It made it about what you know, not who you know.

I agree with you Melle because the civil service test was about how much you know about China about if your a emperor or someone related to them. They also did make the paper money which replaced coins because they were too heavy and hard to handle

I do agree with Melle that Empress Wu did make the goverment stronger by testing the citizens that think that they are worthy enough to be in the government. Also by filling the government by intelligent citizens smarter decisions will be made.

I think the song dynasty had the most influence because they invented gunpowder which they used to put metal or iron scraps in it and lit it on fire so it can explode and it was also used later on was used for hand grenades. The reason they put metal in them was so it can kill them and go right through their bodies.

Fractions also most likely with trade (amounts of trade). The tang dynasty did help too by inventing paper money or "flying money" because it helped with trade as well.

I think the Mongols were the biggest influence on China. They concord 1/3 of the world with no technology. Genghis Khan was good leader, he was loyal but tuff and I think he taught the civilization good by showing his people that they can fight and kill and take over land with only horses and arrows.

I agree that the Song Dynasty was a big influence on China. I think that because they did invent a lot of cool and useful things. They created gunpowder and flying money, they made flying money because coins were a waste of the materials that it was made of.

I think the Tang dynasty had the biggest impact on China. I say this because the Tang created paper money. Paper money replace coins which was helpful because it made money lighter and helped with trade. Empress Wu Hou created civil service exams. It made becoming a government offiical about what you knew not who you knew.

I think the Mongols because they conquered 1/3 world. I think it was also a good dynasty because there army was good and so we're there leaders one was Genghis Khan he was harsh but that's what got him to conquer more land. There army was also good because they made a spot to put your feet when they were riding the horses so you could shoot any directions you want with your arrows.

I think the Song Dynasty had the biggest impact. They made a lot of inventions and I think that they helped this generation today with them. The fact that they invented fractions helped us learn how to see parts of a number. Also gunpowder helped develop the way we fight in wars. They have other inventions that help make our lives easier and help us understand them.

I believe the Sui dynasty had the biggest impact on China because the Grand Canal helped make trading and traveling easier. More trading equals a better economy. With a better economy they could produce things and receive things that could help them build things like the ship Zheng he sailed on.

I belive the song dynasty had the the biggest impact. I belive this because they were the first to use fractions. I think that is important because we would not know how to divide things up like now.
