I believe that Ghengis Kahn was the better ruler. I believe this because, Ghengis Kahn made serious scary threats to towns that made his enemies surrender to him. Ghengis Kahn redirected towns water ways and launched some of his soldiers that have the Black Plague (bubonic Plague), so that the disease would spread killing all of the people in the town. Ghengis Kahn also conquered many towns but Kublia Kahn only expanded the land that the Mongols had. This is why I believe that Ghengis Kahn was the better ruler.
I agree with you Myles. I also believe Ghengis Kahn was the better ruler. He did not only conquer 1/3 of the world, but he united the Mongols to be one. I think he was also a good ruler because he took control. The Mongols only fell, because of bad luck with hurricanes.
I disagree with both Myles and Cheyenne. Even though Ghengis Khan was a successful ruler who took power over other nations with force, the way he controlled and his aggressive behavior towards women that caused him to have over 1000 kids, was just sad.
i agree with Austin t because khan had forever 1,000 kid was just to sad.
I agree with you Myles because even though I am a girl and he had 1000 kids he was still a good ruler.Like Cheyenee said he conquered 1/3 of the world that is so impressive. He was also smart too.Like when he threw those infected bodies at his enemies they all got infected.
I believe that Ghengis Kahn was the better ruler. He took power, while keeping his city rich and wealthy. He was not afraid to attack. He would throw dead bodies into China to spread the bubonic plague. His rules may sometimes be harsh, like, if you don't pay your taxes, we take everything you own. If you don't have anything, we take your children, if you don't have children, we take your wife, if you don't have a wife, we take your head. His rules were just to keep the Mongols going. That is why I think Ghengis Kahn was the better ruler.
I agree with Cheyenne because sometimes you need to be harsh to get listened to. If you are not strict, people will not take you seriously.
I disagree with Cheyenne because Ghengis Khan was a harsh ruler. His taxing method was harsh because if you couldn´t pay then he would take all your things. I believe this is a bad method because most people could not pay. So it was kind of unfair. then if you didn´t have anything then he would take your children, wife, or head. This is why I disagree with Cheyenne.
I think that Kublai Khan was the better leader. Not like his grandfather who would conquer towns with force and kidnap women and do weird things to them which caused him to have over 1000 kids. Kublai Khan was a fair conquerer. he wouldn't kill people if they surrenderd. He would just take them and make them their region's slaves. Kublai caused peace between the people.
I agree with you Austin mostly because Kublai Kahn wasn´t as agressive to woman and was more kind to people. Also he made China better than it was.
I agree with Austin. The reason why I agree with Austin is because Genghis Khan was the one who barged in the cities and would steel all of the women and by the time he died he had 1000 kids. WOW!
Sorry Austin I disagree. I think Ghengis kahn was a better ruler. He was pretty scary. He took out other towns with the bubanic plauge.
Sorry Austin T, but I dissagree with you because even though Kublai Khan didn't kill people and make them their slaves, I still believe that Ghengis Kahn was a better ruler. Ghengis Kahn had a good way for conquering towns like redirecting towns waterways and launching soldiers to towns with the bubonic plague to kill the citizens. Ghengis Khan also had a good but harsh way of keeping the Mongols in good shape by taking people's things, children, wife, and head. Ghengis Kahn also started the entire gain of the Mongols. This is who I believe that Ghengis Kahm is the better ruler and why I disagree with Austin T.
In my opinion Genghis Khan was a better ruler. Aside from conquering almost 12 million square miles of territory and founding one of the largest empires in history, he in my opinion was also a smart ruler. He declared religious freedom for everyone with the intention to make everyone happy, and happy people were less likely to rebel. Khan also had a smart strategy in who he would let join his military. Regardless of their background, as long as they were skilled fighters they could join his military.
I agree with you Jordan. Genghis Khan was better, didn´t he take over all that land in a small period of time? 20-30? I don´t remember, but I do agree with your statement.
I agree with Jordan. I agree with him because I feel that Genghis Kahn was very intimidating so people were less likely to rebel against him and he did have a smart strategy.
I believe that Genghis Khan was a better ruler. I believe this because he concurred 1/3 of the entire world. Also because he was very fierce and intimated a lot of people.
I think Genghis Khan was a better ruler because he controlled about 1/3 of the world. I also believe this because he was a fierce ruler. He would go into a new territory and torture them. He would destroy everything in the city and kill kids and adults or use them as slaves.
I think that Kublai Kahn was the better Kahn because he was more peaceful to other people and didn´t just kill because he wanted to. He also made China better by fortifying the great wall even more because it was run down. He also repaired the Grand Canal so it was usable for trade.
I agree with Jesus. Kublai Khan was the better Khan in my opinion as well. In Jesus's claim he stated that Kublai was much more peaceful. I agree with that completely. Being peaceful is sometimes a bad thing, but in this case it is a good thing. Kublai Khan also repaired the Grand Canal, the Grand Canal was very useful.
I think Genghis Khan was better. Not only did he take over one third of the world, he showed no mercy. If there was a city, he would take everything, and leave no trace behind. People who didn´t know that town was completely destroyed, wouldn even know there was a town there in the first place! He would also make sure people were scared of him. He literally played soccer with a mans head. That is why I think Genghis Khan was a better ruler.
I agree with you Izzy, Genghis Khan was a better ruler. He did not show any mercy and he would take everything and leave no trail. Although I thought it was really weird that he played soccer with a head, he did take over a lot of land.
I think Kublai Khan was a better ruler. I thought Kublai Khan was a better ruler because he did not have 1000 kids like Genghis Khan did. Another reason why I think Kublai Khan was a better ruler because he did not barge into towns and steel all of the wives. This is why I think Kublai Khan was a better ruler.
I think Kublai Khan was the better Mongolian ruler. Even though he was in his grandfather's footstep he was still a better ruler. I think this because Kublai Khan was able to conquer and rule all of China. Kublai Khan was also more kinder then Genghis Khan, which a ruler needs in order to rule well. Kublai Khan also made his soldiers to be humane during their conquests.
I agree with you Regis. I typed Genghis Khan but know I see why Kublai Khan was a better ruler. He may not have controlled 1/3 of the world but he controlled the society better.
I agree Regis .Kublai Khan was a better ruler. But Genghis Khan did conquer 1/3 of the world.Kublai Khan restored trade and more but i agree with you, (Kublai Khan) is the better ruler.
I think that Genghis Kahn was a better ruler. I think this because he conquered 1/3 of the world which means that he was very powerful, smart, and had strategy in order to do this. I also think that he was the better ruler because he was not afraid to attack or do anything in general I feel which made people have faith in him I would think.
i think that kans was a better rule because he help upgrade the arm.
i think Genghis Khan was a better ruler because he controlled 1/3 of the world.
I think Genghis Khan was a better ruler because he was very clever, like when he threw bubonic plague-infested people over walls. He may have been very harsh, but those people were not of his own and he tried to improve the lives of his own. If he was not harsh towards defending villages, he wouldn't be able to conquer all the land that he did. This is why I think Genghis Khan was a better ruler.
I agree with Sebastian. Ghengis Khan could easily take down anyone he wanted. He made great advancements like stirrups, so people on horses could look behind them and shoot their enimies.
I believe that Ghengis Khan was better. He was a forceful fighter and scared many neighboring communities. He killed people who surrenderd and took many women to do other stuff. This caused him to have other 1000 children! He could take down armies that were a lot bigger than his. That is why I think ghengis khan is better.
I believe that Kublai Khan was the better ruler .Unlike his grandfather, he used kindness and not murderous strategies. He increased trade, restored the Grand Canal, and much more.
Genghis Khan, used death, and fear as weapons. He let nobody live, killing them all.He did conquer many places,on horseback.
I personally like Kublai Khan more, because I would not want to be slaughtered by Genghis Khan.
I think Genghis Kahn was a better ruler he conquered 1/3 of the world and also he had made a piece of military tactics the and with only around 200,000 me conquered a lot second of all there actually benefits to entering the empire, such as religious freedom
I think Ghengis kahn was better ruler. He made really frightning threats towards other towns. He poisend their water ways to kill the town. He even catapulted the bubanic pluage into some towns to kill the population. That is why I think Ghengis kahn was a better ruler.
I agree with Cristian. He made many threats which helped him conquer lands easily and powerfully.
i agreed with austin m because he ruled amlost the world.
i agree with angel because she is about how many people liked ghenis
I think Genghis Khan was the better ruler. My reason is because he conquered 1/3 of the country. He infected his enemies with his infected soldiers which was a smart move.
In my thoughts, I will go with Ghent is Kahn because he was the founder and great Khan of the Mongol Empire, which because the largest continuous empire in history after his death.
I believe Genghis Khan was better. Although he killed many civilizations and people he was very powerful. He conquered very many lands and led the mongols powerfully. Although it seemed as if he did gorilla things, and he truly did, he did those things with power and proved to be a very strong ruler.
